When Soyeon literally had a car accident when shooting a drama netizens were sending her death threats saying she should have just died. When 2 girlgroup members (I forgot which) were involved in a car accident, 1 of them mentioned how the other protected her. Antis again made that about T-ara saying "If it was T-ara, they would have told each other to move their **** leg". T-ara was literally battling with SNSD for the most popular GG of the time. And Hwayoung ruined their chances of becoming anything more. Because of her their popularity died and hate increased. There was even a theory that Hwayoung was put into T-ara by SM Entertainment because they didn't want SNSD to fall under lol. I don't think they're childish. However not a lot of people have bangs here. I'm guessing that's what makes them look childish for u.
