Thanks for this review. I was going to watched it but after reading your review, I won’t. Avenging a cheater?…
I think it was more about justice. That the other woman be punished for her crimes rather than her husband be totally absolved of his wrongdoing. She did not forgive him for what he did.
I’m not mad at the Crown Prince, in fact, I like his chemistry with that commoner. He seemed to be a good husband to the Crown Princess and was genuinely trying his best and after the repeated rejections and her literally telling him to sleep with someone else, he got the message. She doesn’t want to be with him. What’s the difference with him sleeping with the sanctioned ladies’ maid and him sleeping with the commoner? His feelings? Then I’m glad for him because he seems to genuinely like her and he’s getting his feelings reciprocated for once.
I’m not discounting the inequities and hardships of the Crown Princess and her role and being a woman. I agree that she’s depressed and probably living life she never wanted but I don’t fault the Crown Prince for that because from what I’ve seen, he had been treating her kindly and doing his best. I hope they both find happiness either together or separately.
