ROTFL, you might want to get out of your woke bubble and figure out why right-wing governments are now being elected all over Europe. The populace is tired of the woke b.s. destroying everything.

As for me having an issue with trans people, I have an issue with men taking over women's sports, sports women have worked their whole lives to excel in, and whose careers are then annihilated by trans "women" who still possess male genitalia.

And if you think women's careers should be annihilated because some guy decides to put on a women's bathing suit and compete against them, I'd say you're anti-woman.

IN other words, I have ZERO issue with trans people in sports. They should just be in their own category.

But good luck getting trans athletes to compete in events like the Olympics against Asian, African, Middle Eastern or South American women. Not ONE of these continents' countries will allow their female athletes' careers to be destroyed by men competing in the wrong category.

You've obviously never spent ANY time in Asia. I lived in 5 Asian countries for most of my life and, as an American who would never live in the U.S. again, let's just say, I would never live in a country that is happily destroying itself from within.

Grow up, as most of us are sick to death of being called "transphobes", "racists", "bigots' etc by the lunatic left who don't have any decent rational argument for why all this b.s. should be pushed down our throat when it is obviously destroying America and any other country engaging in it (hint: I'm in Europe, and most European countries are also done with the woke garbage,as we don't want our countries ending up like America).

Yep. 100 percent correct. I'm an American who left the U.S. a few years ago to live in Europe, but who plans on moving back to Asia next year. Permanently. The west, with its "woke" ideology pushed by fools who have no idea that they are destroying their own countries and their own way of life, are killing what used to be wonderful countries.

Meanwhile Asia, whose countries will NEVER follow the woke ideology, are just moving forward. Quickly. And will overtake the U.S. within the next decade or so.

Loved living in the U.S. until about 10 years ago, and then it started to become a woke hellhole. Now it's so dangerous to just walk around outside in many U.S. cities, I barely visit anymore. Even though my family is there (not for much longer tho, my parents are moving back to Asia as well -- not Asian, just lived all over Asia while I was growing up).

Went to San Francisco a few weeks ago and, God, it was awful. Drug addicts everywhere, human feces on the sidewalks, people looking scared and uncomfortable just to walk around. Couldn't wait to leave.

And nope, drug rehab doesn't work. I worked in a drug rehab place in N. California a few years ago, and the recidivism rate was insane. For every 1 person who gave up drugs (well at least as far as we know) 99 didn't.

America has a massive drug problem (American here who recently visited San Francisco and have never been in a scary place than downtown SF with all the drug addicts everywhere. Over 100,000 Americans died last year alone from Fentanyl). If you think that's a "right wing talking point", you're not too bright.

He's not being replaced. His name is all over the PR pieces for the drama, which comes out in 3 weeks. They're just releasing the series. Nobody outside Korea gives a damn if he was arrested for drug use or not.

I think they deliberately left it that way tho as Disney all along presumed there would be a Season 2 -- news this week pretty much confirmed that :)

It's not Baeksang quality. The Baeksang Awards generally go to serious dramas, not things like this. Sure some less serious dramas are nominated but they rarely win.

He's happy she's going to die as he despises her (at least right now) but if he divorces her, her family will destroy his life and the lives of his family. That's what they do. If she dies he doesn't have to divorce her and can leave the family without his own life being destroyed.

Yeah he looks very young. Then again so many Korean actors look so young. Look at Song Joong Ki. He's heading towards 39 and could easily pass for a teenager. LOL.

Yep, you're exactly right. She's just a woman in a man's robe. Incredibly unbelievable, hence why I said she's miscast in the role :)

Park Eun Bin though is a genius at what she does. Look at her in Extraordinary Attorney Woo -- phenomenal acting.
In this one, Shin Se Kyung is a talented actress and I think doing a good job with what she's been given, but she's not Park Eun Bin. Plus she's such an incredibly feminine-looking woman, and Park Eun Bin is a little quirkier looking, that it's more difficult to believe the pretense that Shin Se Kyung is a man.
Definitely distracts from the plot but it's still one of my fave historical dramas in a while so I'm not really complaining :)

Yep, it's not her acting it's that the pretending to be man just does not work as she is obviously female. Miscasting, IMO, as they could have found an actress who was more passable as male, or use make-up to make her look more masculine.

I mean she was literally wearing lip gloss in one of the earlier scenes, as if she didn't look too feminine as it was :)

NOT the actress's fault tho and I think she is doing extremely well with the hand she's been dealt.

One of the best dramas in a long time especially for Jo Jung Suk's performance.
And don't get me wrong, Shin Se Kyung is an excellent actress and good in the part here. But... I think she is miscast as she is so obviously female, the pretending to be a man does not work at all.
Other than that tho, phenomenal drama. One of my faves of the year.

I'm still enjoying this but must say I am surprised at how messy it is and how much the writing disintegrated in the last few eps.

It's well written so it shouldn't have been a problem for the screenwriter to wrap everything up. If it was it would have been longer than eight episodes :)

Surprised how good this drama has been. Still have a few episodes to watch but loving it.
