Big fan of CDL and ZYR. An enormous shame this is the type of crap they're starring in. But do keep telling me what I hate.

The execution is disastrous also. It's insulting to anyone's intelligence who's operating on more than 3 brain cells how bad this drama is. But yeah the same fan girls will rate it high even tho, if unknown actors had starred in it instead of CDL and ZYR, they would have given this a 2 out of 10 and dumped it like the steaming sack of shit it is.

Dropped it at minute 37 of the first episode. Nothing about this is decent including the story.

It's because Cdrama casting has ruined people's brains. Now they're used to idol actors who can't act but are soooooooooo pretty versus an actor like Ci Sha who is one of the best actors of his generation and knows how to create fireworks chemistry with his leading lady. Check out ratings for idol dramas starring cute boys who should be nowhere near a drama set and they're 8.7, 8.8, 8.9. It's the Tiktok generation with a 10 second attention span and a penchant for pretty over talent and they'll be the death of good drama.

Do you know what a screenwriter does? THEY WRITE THE DRAMA THAT YOU LIKED. Yes it's based on a novel but the author didn't write the screenplay, the screenwriter did, so what you said is dumb. You can't have it both ways. Either you liked the drama so the screenwriter must have done a great job or you didn't like it and she didn't. You can't love a drama and then call for the screenwriter to be banned from the industry. That's the dumbest comment I've read all week.

I kicked it up from a 9 to a 10 after final 3 episodes. A helluva cool ride for 30 hours or so. Exceptional.

How does that make sense? "I really loved the drama but she was so lazy..." She wrote the damned drama!!!!

ASM = A Splendid Match - unfortunately if Story of Minglan is 78 episodes and somebody said the main couple don't end up together I don't think it's for me.

I stopped watching Ning after a few eps. would have been awesome with another actor for ML but he didn't do anything for me. Sorry cant remember his name? Checked, Zhang Wan Yi. A bland not handsome kinda creepy actor so the drama was a dud for me

Eps 29 and 30 so satisfying in so many ways!

Sorry I should have said it better. I'm at Episode 28, I'd already watched Eps 1 thru 16 before I saw the 12 eps today. And yeah it gets better and better. I can't wait for tomorrow!!

I started watching Episode 6 this morning. Does the drama stay as good the whole way thru or will I be disappointed with later episodes?

How is her/his comment weird? You didn't state a country or a region, and he/she gave her/his opinion on America, where that is also happening, and by politicians in their 20s, 30s and 40s just like the old men you talked about. Why are you suddenly disgusted by that? When what he/she says is the truth.

The plot drags towards the end so it could have been better. I liked it for Ren Jia Lun and Xiao Shun Yao, Huang Yi and Zhang Kai Ying and the fight scenes are great.

Is that all you have to offer? Pithy responses that mean nothing because you are not intelligent enough to offer a real argument, only insults.

10 more episodes is hardly a couple. It's 25% of the drama.

The FL is a waste of good air and she's ruining it for me. Been bored since episode 18 and even more bored as some of the best characters are gone. I'll give it 2 more episodes then I'm out if it doesn't improve.
