Just watched him in Love Unexpected. Brilliant actor. Also has music on Spotify that I recently discovered.

You did better than me. Dropped it. Picked it up again. Watched to the end. BIG mistake LOL.

Well this descended into sh*t. Initially dropped it early on then picked it up again. Should have left it dropped as the last half was trash, and that ending!! Every trope in the book thrown in throughout the drama from a writer whose work has collapsed from their first drama Mystic Pop-Up Bar, which was pretty good. Will be wary of watching anything else from the same writer.

Doubt she'll be acting much in a couple of years if she doesn't change as there won't be projects offered to her. She's already growing out of the cutesty roles she's usually been given and will eventually be too old for teen/ young adult roles, she'll be 30 next week. If she's unable to play a serious role without sounding as though she's 5-yrs-old there won't be much left for her.

She's still filming dramas. But don't think she would have been a good choice for this.

Yeah. Would have been a much better drama if they had chosen someone who doesn't act as though she's 5.

Watch it and make up your own mind. Some people love Esther Yu. I don't. But you may think the drama is the best thing since cake!

You love Esther Yu or you don't. Many people don't. I gave it a good try thru Episode 5 as He Yu is lovely in it but she rubs me the wrong way.

She's not a competent actress. She's gotten away with it for years because she's cute, but if a role demands anything more than acting like a child, she's lost. Why do you think she was so successful in Sword and Fairy. That childish voice.

I wanted to love this as a huge He Yu fan but 22 more episodes of Esther's voice will do me in.

Even the cinematography can't save Esther Yu's voice. Dropped at Episode 5. I tried. I can't.

Watched it for the first time this week and soooooo surprised at how good this turned out. I usually expect MDL high ratings to be over the top but this is very deserving of the high score.

Late to the party with this but wow I see why it gets a high rating on MDL. One of my most enjoyable Kdrama in a long time. Fab cast too!

Block that person so their links don't show up in posts. Anybody reading that junk would end up dumber from having spent time doing it. Like you said imagine spending your life publishing lies that could cause a Chinese or Korean actor to commit suicide and then be so proud of that bullshit you link to it so others can read your garbage. There's a special place in hell for people like that.

In my Top 5 best K-dramas of 2025. Ignore the rating from the usual fools. This one is superb.

Same tho I gave it 2 and a half eps. I'm disappointed as trailer looked exciting but nothing caught my attention to make it worth 32 episodes viewing.

Brilliant rom-com. Actually funny and with a good script. FL and ML are perfectly matched as well.

Knew this would be good as the trolls on MDL are downrating it. Brilliant kdrama.
