As soon as I saw the 2 actors I knew Adiamond Lee was the director. She always makes amazing shorts/series. She is also a really nice person. I have talked to her on YouTube. I agree it was too short but a lot of the best BL content is. I look forward too it being adapted into series format!!
I love this series!! Yes some of it is hard to watch but it is unfortunately reality for some actors and not just in BLs. I love all the couples but I wish we had more of Earth and Korn. Maybe if we keep mentioning Win and Winner we can manifest a series for them Also their couple name would be adorable, it would be WinWin 😍🥰
I have only watched the first few minutes and already I don't think my old heart can handle it lol. When they had Boun pull back his hair into the blonde ponytail and even has the dark roots like the original series I had a flutter. Then Bosston catching Sammy. I can't deal!!

I agree that they shouldn't have started those plot points with no intention of going back and explaining or wrapping them up. That is one thing I love about Korean and Chinese BL usually short and to the point. No time for the "fluff". That would be so cute if one of Cake's and one of Eiw's friends got together!! ❤ Boun would definitely not let that happen lol. So excited for Between Us!!! I think Cake knew before he left Thailand that was why he asked Eiw to wait for him but never specified why. I think he knew it wouldn't be fair to confess his feelings then leave. I believe that was why he ran back for the second hug (that broke me!). I hope they deal with Eiw's sister and Cake's friend because they are really cute together. I don't usually care about the straight side couple but I was really cheering for them. Especially since the actress wrote the book.
I see a lot of people saying it took to long to get to present day and obviously we are all entitled to our opinions but I disagree. I think if it was only a short time before present day the episode where Cake told Eiw he was leaving and the episode where he left wouldn't have hit us as hard because we wouldn't have been as invested in them or their relationship. I am usually in the camp of wanting relationships and feelings to be confessed faster but the story telling and the acting by Santa & Earth were so great it didn't feel like it has taken as long as it has. Like I said this just my personal opinion and I would never presume to tell someone they are right or wrong in theirs.
Like most people I came for Net and James but am also staying for Great! Haven't seen him since Manner of Death, where I fell in love with him lol. Series looks promising for sure.
In my head I knew it could only end this way but my heart is broken. This was so beautifully tragic. Korean BL really knows how to tell an amazing story without having any fluff which I guess explains also why they are always so short and sweet (sad in this case). Proves that you don't need sex scenes or even a lot of kissing to tell a love story. Don't get me wrong I do love those kinds of series too, I am human afterall lol. Thank you Lee Hyun Jun, Moon Ji Yong and Kang Woo Jung for portraying these amazing characters and telling their beautiful story. I am still bawling as I type this, but we all need a good cry sometimes.
