I wouldn't recommend giving up as the plot will pick up (based on the novel) after Dream Arc ends, but if you don't feel like it anymore, you shouldn't force yourself to keep watching.

I dislike Tian Huan's writing. I'm tired of seeing villains (especially in xianxia) whose characterization is based on being individuals who are hateful because the person they love doesn't reciprocate. Since the plot is epic, I was expecting a villain with the same qualities and not a predictable, one-dimensional goddess.
