I completely disagree on the chemistry between Trin and Victor. At no point did I ever actually feel any sort…
I understand what you’re saying and respect your opinion, but I did not say that Trin showed any attraction to Victor.

I said that the chemistry, for me personally, was more established and that the tension between them had a better build up in the story line. Let me explain, if you’ll hear me out: they showed how Trin is trying to make up for being passive in the political cause of his ex girlfriend through Victor who was also the same way. He didn’t see him in a romantic way but he cared for him, especially because his constant challenging of him in class reminded him of how his perspective is still coming from a privileged POV. Victor, on the other hand, sees his professor Trin as another representation of the “elites” he disdains, but finds it comforting to have a person like him care and empathize with him not knowing that his genuine care is also coming from a last trauma, and this makes him naturally fall in love with Trin.

For me the series established this stronger because it was build up from the beginning. Although Trin and Tanwa were in the same place at the start of the show, their plotline was developed later.

The plot of Tanwa, how I saw it, was first more focused on establishing why he’s the way he is (family, lifestyle), and then he started pursuing Trin because he find him cute and they made out once in a party. It was very cute but not as compelling as the chemistry build up between Trin and Victor.

This is purely observation and personal, and has nothing to do with which ship I prefer.

Lastly, I understand that’s it’s uncomfortable from an audience POV that Trin was Victor’s professor, and that’s just how the story goes. At the end of the day, they were consenting adults and teacher/student relationships are also a trope that exists. Nevertheless, I think the show was very careful into showing that nothing came out if intimacy wise.

Hope this clarifies 😅

Title Khemjira
The latest episode was INTENSE. Ying (Kaetkaew) and Green’s (Ramphueng) acting was a masterclass! Everyone did so well but the women were the star of this episode. 🥹

I understand your frustration. I feel for her though. She’s bullied by the wife of her father, not loved by…
I am saying this from the characters POV
as this is how everything looks like, so it looks like everything is against her. She doesn’t know yet that Saenkaew is gay, and that adds to the list of challenges she’s uncovering. She is not selfish for wanting to love someone, in the bigger picture, she is also forced into this loveless marriage arrangement by her family. But unlike Saenkaew, she has at least some feelings like a crush. Everything is unfolding before her so and slowly her delusion is fading. At some point she’ll have to face the reality once everything is out there. Saenkaew doesn’t love her but he still cares for her, that’s why he has a backup plan where they don’t end in marriage. This could be painful for her, but less painful and damning than a loveless marriage. She doesn’t win in this situation and we all know it. It’s just that her character knows only the bare minimum (arranged marriage, finances), but she doesn’t know yet the underlying motives of the people around her. Not even Saenkaew nor Sasin is explaining anything to her, so she really has nothing to listen to but the facts and reality presented to her by the older people around her. Which is why I feel for her and don’t fault her YET for only seeing this in her own worldview. Hope that clarifies things.

I'm sorry.. but Pin is so annoying to me. She is so selfish.. is she obsessed with Saenkaew? she definitely know…
I understand your frustration. I feel for her though. She’s bullied by the wife of her father, not loved by her childhood crush (and even worse, betrayed by the cousin she trusts because he’s now ‘stealing’ him from her), and forces herself into ignorance and delusion. She’s also young and naive. 🥲

Saenkaew has no idea how much power he holds. He is literally his dad’s only hope, and he could really use everyone’s desperation into his advantage. 🤣 Like he can actually demand stuff from these people who are expecting him to marry Pin.

Note: This is not a BL, but an LGBTQ forbidden love story with a politically charged narrative. It’s so beautifully done, and although the main conflict and its resolution were expected, the visual storytelling made it very exciting

Another note, maybe you’re expecting Apo and Mile to be the main couple highlight since they are the “face” / marketing driver of this show, but I felt like the mains were really Son and Euro.

Also I felt that the chemistry between Trin and Victor was stronger and established better than Trin and Tanwa, but that could also be the intent.

Sasin behavior is super annoying, he doesn’t have to know everything and he’s too hot tempered!! At this point…
For real. His main personality is minding everyone’s business as he doesn’t have one of his own. I understand he’s an outsider but they could have written this guy better. If I were Saenkaew, I would have been turned off by ep4, like who are you to talk to a prince like this when your cousin needs the coins?!

LOVED IT. They definitely sold me the forbidden love master plot fantasy packaged with Chinese period drama, spoken lyrics, clear character arcs, scandalous choices (love? family? SURVIVAL?), hair extensions to the gods, bougie tea sets crafted from jade, and a sickening punchline. In this type of masterplot, the couple can never ever be together unless they are banished by society or they meet their fate in the afterlife. Watch it so you know which one. Honestly some parts were a bit draggy, but I’m not complaining. We’re here to celebrate pride, and these gays didn’t hold back.

okay honestly TK deserves this ending and he deserves even worse cuz he was and is still 2 timing 2 guys at same…
Girl??? No. Nankrai is having wet dreams about TK, what are you talking about? TK even established multiple times that Nankrai is an oldee brother to him. Not one scene showed any intimacy or dating between them apart from the imagined NC scenes by Nankrai (shower and bedroom).

I understand this conundrum. I thought also maybe Khanin, having lived a completely different reality, would have…
In addition I feel like they should have done some more flashbacks / core memories of Khanin and his acting father of all the different lowkey ways he prepped him for Kingship. Like a big “aha!” moment where he realizes all these preparations from his father are finally coming to fruition. For now, there are some moments when Khanin shows Emmaly level skills but it’s not justified or he’s naïve/ignorant about certain things that he should know given that his father prepared him for it.

i don't think i've seen many people speak about this but... isn't it crazy how quickly khanin blended in with…
I understand this conundrum. I thought also maybe Khanin, having lived a completely different reality, would have fought for answers in the background. They established him in the beginning as this kid who grew up differently and outside of this prestigious world although still very privileged and equipped with confidence and intelligence. It would have gone a different route like he for now “prentends / plays the part” whilst uncovering the whole Emmaly politics, understanding why Charan is so loyal to him/his original family, what really happened to his mother, and also wth is up with these people trying to murder him. AND THEN falling in love with his body guard in the process of finding these things out.

Exactly this. I am rooting so hard for Ava.
