People not knowing =/= plot twist.

Plot twist is a radical change in the direction or expected outcome of the plot by withholding information from the audience or misleading it with ambiguous or false information. The information was not witheld or misled with false info. The show made it obvious several times throught the show intentionally for the audience. So, you the audience could analyze their relationship. The information was witheld from player 456, so that it was suprise for him not the audience.

Player 1 and 456 are complete opposites of each other, which was subtlely hinted throughout the show. The first episode was indicating player 1 is a complete psychopath because he was smiling and laughing the whole time while 200 people died, where as player 456 is in complete shock because he is empathetic. Player 1 meets 456 randomly in small town and convinces 456 to rejoin game. Player 1 chose star easier shape to cutout than umbrella player 456. Player 1 said to stop the killing and frontman stop players from killing each other. The tug war game he knew how to win despite having weaker team.

How was it plot twist? Literally, first episode old man was laughing his ass off while 200 people just died, while everyone else is in shock or focus on surviving the game. The whole point was social critque between player 1 and 456 relationship. You can't have that if it was just random plot twist out nowhere.

I don't get why people think show is predictable, when the show intentionally foreshadows and hints everything. It wasn't suppose to be a suprise for audience and the purpose was depth in the social commentary. You can't analyze characters if show witheld information just be bunch random suprises.

It's not just emotion, which is just subjective. Those shows have symbolic meaning, which has depth. Regardless how you feel about the show, you have to respect the effort and skill in writing. This how you objectively analzye literary works.

Like compare this show with Raised by Wolves. This show is just straightforward good guys vs bad guys timetravellers and romance story. Whereas Raised by Wolves story is symbol for the Bible, Paradise Lost, several ancient mythologies, and more. You can't rate Raised by wolves because you can't emotionally connect to it. Ridley Scott clearly put ton effort in writing.

The West has scifi completely saturated and lockdown. Those shows are just recent ones. There's so many scifi shows that I can't even list them all like star trek next generation, battlerstar galatica, star wars series, 2001 space odyssey, Children of Men, Childhood's End, and so forth.

I don't see how or even the point in trying to compete in market that is already controlled. Even if South Korea or China makes one good scifi show/film, will they be able to constantly output more good shows in quality? I don't think so. I think they should pursue more horror Asian mythology lore. Like, there's barely any Asian mythology or lore shows with good productions.

People here need stop watching Asian dramas and go outside. What did you expect to happen? Was he suppose to stay and formally apologize after hitting someone? How is that normal? Of course, you'd run after hitting someone. This normal flight response. Only in your dramas, where people stay apologize.

The main issue here is we should have better laws in forgiving people for accidents like this. So, they won't feel need to run and potentially cause more accidents in state of panic because harsh laws in place.
