This was the first longest C-drama I sat through, and I loved every moment. I found most of it well written, and the actors did a fantastic job. It's actually worth a re-watch. It's been years since I watched this drama, so I think I'll watch it again over the break.
Yea I think Dan Dan and Young Guk has lost the spark it once had
Completely. He would have to become 40 again for me to be interested in their relationship. Mr. Lee has lost his cognitive thinking skills at 22 years of age. He decides to start treating his children like siblings because it doesn't feel "right," BUT thinks it's okay to get engaged to someone he doesn't have feelings for, and no one remembers their relationship.
Dan Dan is living under the same roof, knowing the truth but going with the flow of the foolery is annoying.
I'm not a fan of foolery, so they lost me some episodes back.
This is my opinion. I'm two episodes into the series, and the FL is almost a goofball. I may drop it due to my disconnection with the main characters. It's going to be a slow burn for character development. Also, I read the synopsis to have a good picture of how this all will unfold. If you like youthful dramas, this is one you may enjoy.
Today, I found myself skipping through a lot of scenes. I watched maybe half of it. IMO: it seems like I'm getting the same feelings every episode. The insanity of the King and the uncertainty from the Crown Prince are constant. The Crown Prince gets accused of something that requires judgment by the King every week. What a life of pressure, then there's Deok Im coming to the rescue. Ugh, same soup, different bowl every week. It's not even a spoiler.
IMO the writer added this story to show the poor character of her friends. First the viewers see how racist they…
We could have captured that without the stereotype. I could have written that scene several ways and obtained the same effect. But because it's such a sensitive topic for POCs, we don't tend to explain further but thank you for your reasoning on behalf of the writer. No pun intended.
I was looking for someone to say this. i was scared to say this since many people here like her character lol.…
If she thinks clearly--she simply wants a playboy. She may as well get a puppy. She takes all of his man points away, and when he finally feels degraded, he goes back to his family for comfort and support. Damn that BUM's feelings. He will go back to that silly girl, so we shouldn't bother getting too involved with their relationship. She's possibly going to let go of all her money to be with him at the end. Cray-cray. That's not love although the feelings of love is close to a psychological issue, it's not unstable. It's nurturing, guiding, and good. It's not obsessive, greedy, or selfish.
