I've decided to skip the entire Anna Kim-Soo Cheol-Yeong Sil arc... they take too much of my brain space and atp…
I've been skipping every scene except for DanDan. I can't sort out all of these relationships in my head. Although Anna was poop for bailing out on her newborn, I still like her for some reason. I guess I'm waiting on her whole story to play out. We know she did visit DanDan secretly when she was a little girl but saw Mr. Park had married, and she assumed they were living a good life. We also know that she has been in a major accident. Now, she's still poop, but I want to know her whole story. I'm also reading the postpartum depression storyline; it's still no excuse. I'm just willing to forgive Anna since DanDan gets treated so poorly, and Anna's willing to compensate DanDan as she should for bailing out.
The acting has a bumpy start mainly because the female lead overkills her comedic scenes with the extra dramatics, but you can sit through it. The character development and the story plot are also weird, but it's watchable. There is a lot packed into one episode, but it becomes more and more hilarious.
aren't Mi Rim and Junho the only ones they've paired up between the families?
I'm sorry you couldn't see my sarcasm through the computer. I was in agreement with you. 100%! If they match another person, from Dan Dan's family with anyone associated with Mr. Lee, I'm done. LOL. Even soap operas have more characters.
It's not "Mr. Queen." I picked this drama up and dropped it several times. Each time I wonder why there are so many pointless episodes. It's not that many good dramas right now, but this drama has made my watchlist. I guess the pandemic stopped a lot of filming, and production companies are trying to catch up. This production had an excellent budget, but I'm not fond of the script. I did love episode 14.
Ep. 14 "Should anything happens to His Majesty, I will lose my mind." I'm all for the 2nd Lead now. I'm catching up. I put this series on hold for a while.
I might be the only one who doesn't care if the 1st lead male gets married to that selfish woman. I believe he will figure it out at the end, just as the King had to make do with the Queen.
BUT THE END OF EP. 14 just reeled me back into this series.
Did you watch the scene after the credit where he caught the feather? But I agreed I want more!!!!
Thank you for explaining in-depth. I have a degree in history so I love anyone to explain meanings, history, and culture to me. I take the information as homework and do more research.
Just a dumb check: You see a group of people beating something alive in a bag, then they toss it into the river. You disregard your curiosity for what may have been moving in the bag and ask for directions anyway. While asking the violent stranger for directions, you tell them that you are possibly the long-lost daughter of a potential village leader.
Is there anyone else among the two families that they can pair up? My goodness. I've heard "keep it in the family," but geesh! Write some new characters in the storyline. I know they aren't blood-related, but the storyline is complicated enough.
Also, I'm not fond of the 22-year-old, Mr. Lee. It doesn't seem like Dan Dan is attracted to the young Chairman either. However, he doesn't let "the mistress" breath the wrong way in his direction. LOL! I still remember, "GET OUT OF MY BUSINESS, LADY!" That lives in my head rent-free.
This show is so terrible, but we can't stop watching. Dae Bum is a bum. They gave him the perfect name. Also, I think Mr. Park can say that he and his wife are even now. Even! They should have one good heart-to-heart and break even. LET THOU ART LOOSED.
I just started back watching yesterday. I skipped a lot of episodes mainly because you all have kept me informed.

Poor unfortunate souls.
Is that dumb AF? What the duce?
