I don't know how much longer I can continue to watch this playout. I tried, but I just can't anymore. I wouldn't say I like the storyline as much as I thought I would.
Also, please don't beat me up too bad for saying this... We Americans are typically on the thicker side when it comes to weight. I know Asians, especially on camera, are thinner, but she (FL) seems fragile. I'm just a concerned viewer that has enough fat to share. Is this a healthy portrayal in cinema? And NO pun intended; I'm seriously concerned.
Okay, I can see how Haishi will begin to hate Zhu. I need the story to jump to these particular elements.
1. Explain why Haishi's hands glow in the water and how she's connected to the mermaid. 2. When does Haishi shed her men's clothing for good? 3. When does Tilan's character leave the side stage? I'm sure the Emperor will not fall in love with Haishi while Tilan's depressing but cute self is in the picture--maybe during childbirth. 4. Like Tilan, Zhu is sad and depressing. I understand his loyalty, but I can take him or leave him now. I'm guessing there's a tragic ending for him and his gloominess. He's slowly dying of poison, so we have to wait and see how he exits the center stage. 5. When does Zhouzing leave the stage? I don't see a happy ending for him either. I see him teaming with his brother in the future. He just lost his true love, so he can only be resentful at this point. Who will he take his anger out on? Hmm, my guess is Zhu. 6. I think a relationship between the crazy Emperor and Haishi is more interesting at this point. What do you all think?
Well, it's only my guess on these fictional characters. Please don't hate me too much.
Now I'm sure! A while ago I saw pics of the makings in which in front of the Christmas tree YG was hugging DD.…
Me too, If she goes to the US, she can mature more, gain stability and independence. She's not living her best life as a Tutor. While he's still struggling and jumping into a marriage while having amnesia, she should leave.
Anyone else feeling the same? For me, Red Sleeve is much more funny, interesting & laced with excitement than…
There is nothing funny about the King's Affection. However, I am getting a disinterest in The Red Sleeve. It's moving slow. (The characters are evolving quickly, but the main storyline is moving slowly). I know it's semi-based on a real king and his love story with his maid, but I'm waiting for more to happen with this story.
Also, if you had a family member that suddenly got amnesia, then says he is marrying one of his workers (one he fired). Isn't that suspicious? Isn't that weird? There's no one saying it's a setup. I'm even disappointed in DanDan for not saying anything. To be such a rich and powerful man, his storyline is baffling. It doesn't fit the character. Rich and powerful people always have not one, but a few people around them that can account for past actions, history, documentation, etc. Even relationships because they need to know who is in their circle.
Yep from the preview definitely next line up is the airport cliche! He'll regain his memory when she's about to…
I hope the plane takes off and he misses it. He needs to clean his house before inviting Dan Dan back. Plus, I love that she would be going with her mother.
How many of you that said you won't watch because of the amnesia plot are watching? Fess up!
Oh, I did. Several weeks ago. I was like, nope. I can't sit through this. Unfortunately, I can't find anything else to watch so I've been reading old books. When I surf the net, I drop in to read the comments. :)
I'm about to vent, and I'm not watching right now. I am only reading the comments! Thank you all for keeping me updated.
I can't feed into this storyline. It's trassssssh to put Dan Dan through this mess. I've never been the person to fight for any personal affection. I learned that lesson in my early twenties. If they want you, it'll be up to you to receive their love and reciprocate. The way these women are behaving for Mr. Lee's affection is insane.
Dan Dan can't prove that she and Mr. Lee were in a relationship, so I'm all for her going to the US while those spinsters fight for his affection and he regain his memory. She'll get written back into the storyline, and he'll regain his memory. If he asks why she left, she can tell him that he was too ashamed to tell anyone about their relationship when he had his memory, so why would she stay and endure the heartache.

On the other hand---I'm like Anna.
