I have read on several occasions about the amnesia storyline and that Mr. Lee can only remember before he was 22. I still don't like the amnesia storylines. It's a lazy writing tactic if executed poorly. Again, I look forward to reading the comments. I don't think I can commit to this series. It ends in March 2022. I can't invest in this right now. If anyone knows of any good dramas right now, please feel free to share with me. Thanks.

I haven't fallen in love with any of the characters yet and I love Yang Mi. I wish a significant relationship happens soon or I'll place this on hold until more episodes are released. It's moving slow. I'm reading how much viewers love this show and I'm confused--nothing has really happened yet. Just a lot of bit parts of backstories. AND what was glowing in Hai Shi's hand when she was in the lake? A pearl? See what I'm saying--bit parts.

I'm at episode 10 and still have found no reason to like the emperor. When his back story is revealed, I will still have distorted feelings towards his character. Everyone seems unhappy. I forgot all about the mythical creatures in episode 1.

I'm on episode 4. I haven't connected with the characters or storyline yet. I read in the comments that it gets more intriguing by episode 8. I'll try to stick it out.

Right. She definitely feels threatened. She ran to Mr. Park's job just to get a reaction out of telling him that she saw his ex-wife. Plus, she says it when she was walking away. If he's still that mad then she's okay. She's about her own security.

The writers let us know within the first episode that she and her son has made many mistakes throughout the years. It's ongoing. Her son was shammed into turning a new leaf, but she has no scruples.

Yes, I'm leaning that direction too. There is something there still between Mr. Park and Anna. I'm not going to think too much into it right now. We do not that Anna will have to be exposed (possibly by the stepmom) and that fire will have to die down. Overall, I'm sure Dan Dan's character will forgive her mother after a few heart-to-hearts.

I agree. She'll be hurt again when the truth comes out, but I'm sure they will get through it. I have a feeling that Dan Dan will be leaving temporarily with Anna to America while Chairman Lee has amnesia. It would be Anna's idea to get her way for a bit and come back still kind, but wiser.

I rock with you! Yes, I think the stepmother will kick off more drama or hide some information from the dad. Either way, if those two stay together, then he's a foolish man, and that's where he should stay. I'm team Dan Dan. She has it hard. That mutual agreement between her dad and stepmom has been tarnished over and over again. This is an example of abusing someone's kindness.

Heck yeah! Is it only us that see a big problem with the stepmother and her mom? I don't think they are evil, but they are definitely opportunist.
