Second thought: Is this the dumbest king of 2022 dramas? His son is the nephew of the "Emperor." The smart one. There is no need to know that he has excellent martial arts skills because he has intelligence and wit. While one prince is constantly plotting with his mother, the other is killing innocent people to cover his illness. It is baffling that he's having difficulty deciding on his successor. The King covers the sins of his treacherous Queen, which is usually a King's downfall in these dramas. He probably didn't deserve to marry the Emperor's sister. I wouldn't be surprised if we discovered the current queen murdered her.
Y'all, I'm deciding if I should stop at episode 18 and return to it after it finishes airing. I'm getting a little frustrated with every episode. Those minor frustrations are NOT dealbreakers. I want to see it through. There are so many little secrets and I see treachery to come. *sigh* I'm truly just interested in BFX. When she comes on the scene everything seems refreshing. The whole fighting for the throne amongst brothers with a conniving queen gets old.
Yea, it was a pleasant surprise, is pretty good. But tour right that there are some editing missing out/cut. Do…
Dumb King.
And Yan Xun had a dashing smile---ladies, you know what that smile can get you into!
