IMO: I don't know if I would have accepted two similar scripts back to back? I'm sure the storyline is different, but the first thing that crossed my mind was Royal Feast. I am happy LXX is the main lead.

Okay, I'm on episode 8. I would have dropped this series if it wasn't for the female lead. The male lead is the equivalence of a cardboard cutout. The storyline is bland, and it's moving at molasses speed. I did have high hopes for this show. It must get better for the rating of 7.9 because I see a 4.5 or 5 at the most.

I would like to see the ratings get to 8.5. It's so enjoyable

I love how we have room to think about the different scenarios. It's written well so far. I didn't jump into it right away, but I really enjoy the storyline now.

I agree! I didn't notice the extra activity after announcing the engagement. Suppose it's Segi's sister, the scars on her wrist may indicate that she tried to end herself due to her infatuation with Go-Jin. In that case, I could see a motive for Segi wanting to take down his friend and partner for hurting his sister, even if it was unintentional. I can't see it just being jealousy. The writer can do better than that theory. If she's just a deranged fan, then that would just suck. Call the police, please. Go-Jin has been trying to figure it out, and I'm sure he has a suspect.

The motorcycle incident didn't seem intentional she may have been stalking Go-Jin and ended in the same location as Shina. I don't know how I suspected her of being the stalker. She didn't have her cap on but she walked away quickly so as not to be seen by Go-Jin.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a little thickness, and all its greatness. ;) I'm just used to very thin females in k-dramas. If she's not trying to kill him, I guess she's trying to sabotage him; either way; this person isn't trying to bring good health or wealth to him. This is all my humble opinion. :)

Se gi!!! He's so terrible! It's four episodes left! How far will Go Jin allow him to scheme? I hope he's just giving Se gi enough rope to hang himself.

AND Soo Young!!! She's so clingy! UGH! Go Jin doesn't want to deal with you, Soo Young! He doesn't want to hash out the past or rekindle old flames. Leave him alone and move on.

I'm all for Go Jin's stance on love for Shina. He's definitely a left-brainer with a technical mind. Once they have their mind made up, you should give up.

I give the writer two thumbs up for not letting us go through a period of anxiety but keeping us wanting more!

I'm "thinking" the girl with the thick thighs and butt (no shade) who's been trying to kill Go Jin is Se gi's sister. Just a theory. I believe there is a scar on the wrist in both scenes. I'm sure the scars have some significance. (FYI: there is nothing wrong with a little thickness and all its GREATNESS.) I'm definitely a thick girl in all the right places. ;)

Dang! Now, it's back to waiting until Monday.

Right. No, you didn't miss anything. I drew a blank with that question as well. He did not answer her nor did they show any scenes as if he knew her previously. Like why come back and ask the emperor for "her" hand in marriage? Was it to honor her father? So many questions. He said he fell in love at first sight. Where?

I wonder if they even consummated their wedding.

If there is a season two, maybe they will show more flashbacks that will answer our questions.

Shows that are rated 7.5 and up--I'm giving them a try without too many questions. 7.5 isn't a bad rating, and sometimes I find them to be underrated.

I've had a beautiful relationship that didn't end in marriage, so I get it. Those people are always beautiful memories and have a place in your heart. I always want that person to be happy wherever they are in life. There is no sadness over time, just fond memories. That's true love when you can still hope for their joy, peace, and happiness.

I loved Mr. Sunshine so I watch Handmaiden and was like WTH. She doesn't make many films so this was all I could find at the time. It was definitely different but showed her range of acting.

Oh Se Gi! Ugh!

Cute show. I've always liked LJL. He needs more main roles. I was excited to see him in this drama.

IMO: There must be some editing film on the floor somewhere. Some parts were missing or did not transition smoothly to the next scene. It's not a deal-breaker. If you want something light and fluffy, this is a go. It's definitely a rewatch.

I'll wait for season 2.

I'm on episode 8 and have been laughing my butt off. I'm so glad it's been light and funny. It's sweet humor so far.

Right. Darn shame. But I wonder why they didn't release it in 2016 when it was filmed. He didn't pay his 2019-2020. I want the juicy story. The real juicy story. lol

Oh wow! :( But he just got this charge in March. This was filmed years ago.
