There is no way to say this kindly, but I’m not supporting her cheating ex and his home-wrecking wife. They can fade off in the distance. Showing less of them is best. I’m not happy with her new boyfriend either... He’s an emotional anchor with a good heart. IMO: It seems she needs a good therapist. Now, I would be happy for her sister if she and the assistant director hit it off. This story had some amusement, but I’m done. It is not much I can get from the end.

Especially when she broke down the cost of their apartment and he basically wasn't getting any money. He's dumb. I can't believe she supported him to that degree and he just got use to it.

He is humorous, but I'm not rooting for him and his insecurities. He's not that smart, but he's smarter than his wife. I guess that's the balance he was looking for and she was looking for security. It worked outish, I guess.

The last few minutes of episode eight were so satisfying.

It wasn't terrible, but not great either. I was slightly disappointed.

He's so hot! I liked him more in Princess Weiyoung than the main lead.

Why 24 episodes? Why? lol.

I'm reading the comments and y'all aren't cutting any slack for the main leads. I'm literally laughing hard at the comments.

The Story of Yanxi Palace is where it all began with me. I truly love the two leads, but I don't want to put too much expectation on this show because they are sharing the screen again. I remember thinking wow this kid (Xu Kai) got something special and Yao was able to play such a mature role with flexibility was awesome. I haven't seen her in anything, but Xu, yes. He's been in a few silly historical romance dramas, but I still think he is great.

Okay, I see how it received a low rating. LOL. It's an interesting storyline, but I'm not a fan of amnesia plots. You can see where this is heading too. Y'all, I still have trauma from Young Lady and the Gentleman.

Wow! It's only two episodes. How did it get a low rating? I'm about to watch it. It sounds like an interesting drama.

I love the leads, but this show is so damn boring. It's borderline awful. Lord, I prayed that it would get better because I did not want to drop HYT like a bad habit.
