I just came across this from that terrible Love of Thousand Years page. I like ZLS. I did not enjoy that drama. I can't wait for this one. I've been waiting for a drama with Deng Lun for a while.
I enjoyed HYT's acting because it was different from the handsome ice face roles he usually plays, but I could not finish this drama. The FL annoyed the heck out of me. That's just my opinion.
Every scene, I'm thinking, WELL ISN'T THAT CONVENIENT!
The Du Ling Feng can get into university and join the shooting team with one call.
The brother gets a job at the same company.
Du Ling Feng wanted Shen Qing Yuan's dorm room, so there were no other rooms?
The therapist is married to the media production owner (FL's boss), who has a house where both ML and FL live and hopeful heal.
Hilariously, there is no doctor-patient confidentiality in this show, but we need this for story development.
You would think the storyline would have developed more in twelve episodes about the lead couple's past, but nope. He becomes an obsessed puppy while she becomes insecure.
IMO: I think the script has gaps and skips around a bit. I understand the rating. It's not a bad rating, but I knew it had some minor issues that confused the viewers or viewers were displeased with the development.
Nothing seems natural about this show; even the romance is awkward.
I'm here for HYT, BUT he has to start taking other roles are he'll get typecast into the handsome iron face lover for the rest of his career.
Were the leads together in past or were they just friends?
Apparently, from what I gathered from her conversation with the therapist, they had a relationship (unknown if it was official or unofficial), and one day he just disappeared from her life. It has vague flashbacks and pictures of them together. Now that she knows he lost his memories, she doesn't feel compelled to talk to him about their past. If so, it may cause further harm to his shooting abilities.
They dated before, but the ML got into an accident and had amnesia. They lost touch and they met again at the…
Thank you. It seems like they were still dating and he disappeared from her life due to the accident. That's what I gathered, but I was half sleep watching it.
There is very little progress to the point I forgot why the FL was at the Fragrance Mountain. It's plodding progress, and the ML is creepy AF. I'm sure I'll have to wait and see the plot unfold to understand why he's a borderline perv. It started extremely well, although the limelight is not on ZLU. This show mirrors Jun Jiu Ling.
I'm on episode 14, and most problems derive from the production. The editing is horrible. The wardrobe change with every new scene is ridiculous. If they walk into a new room, there's a possible wardrobe change.
I could get past the lousy editing if it weren't for the storyline and character development. The storyline is all over the place weird. The SML and SFL storyline was pure garbage together and the worst distraction. I couldn't empathize with the SFL, which made it worst.
I can understand the SML's attachment to the female lead, but he let it go. The SFL is what I'd like to call cray cray. Anything to stand in another woman's shoes to get her man for year and year is crazy. Do men like this because I see this often written in dramas? He finally settles for the woman that's been following him around aimlessly is another weak story plot—poor relationship development and slightly sickening.
Four years ago, her entire royal family was massacred, and the SFL told her all she wished for was her death time and time again. I can't sympathize with that SFL. She is malicious and evil. You can't paint her as a victim to half the show's audience. She's already created her karma.
I forgot I was watching this show. I stopped at episode 27. It's not terrible, and there's a great cast. It's 59 episodes, and I don't think I could wrap my head around the length of this series. I'll pick it up again later.
I put this on hold for some apparent reason. Something turned me off from watching, and now it's been so long that I'll have to watch everything from the beginning. Let me read the comments. Maybe I'll remember.
I REMEMBER... I don't think I'll finish it. It was the storyline.
She couldn't do enough to redeem her evil doings and envious ways. Even at the end, I side-eyed the whole event.
Zuo Zi Chen was less than smart.
Nope. Not me. I'm holding a grudge against this fictional character . SMH
I wasn't crazy about this drama.

I'm a few episodes in and glad that I came across this drama again.

I dropped at episode 21. I wanted my life back.
I REMEMBER... I don't think I'll finish it. It was the storyline.
