At first I stopped watching this because I didn't like the FL lead, but after reading so many positive reviews…
I was looking for this post. Thank you. I was trying to decide if I wanted to come back to this drama. I did not care for the FL. I may have to start over.
Episode 32 and now I got questions. I understand Mr Park is hurt but a man just don’t haul off and hit a woman…
YES! YES! YES! Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself. I don't feel sorry for Mr. Park anymore. The writer didn't exactly tell us why Anna left Mr. Park. She said she felt smothered, but Mr. Park could have been beating her ass. We see he is capable. I'm being facetious, but you see where I'm getting at. WE ALL KNOW that Anna was wrong for leaving her newborn with her father and not taking her role as a mother, but who has a heaven or hell to put Anna? Karma is happening, but how much blood do people want to see from Anna.
The stepmom is still a greedy wench and only did it because she need a sponsor err wallet err father for son.…
I agree. He's so self-righteous and had us feeling sorry for him, but he's really not a good guy. If it weren't for @MiaDanielle reminding me about the airport scene, I would have forgotten. Anna was wrong, but there are better ways to deal with the situation.
girl me either…Honestly the kids make me watch. Everyone else, including the leads, get on my nerves. I spend…
Dan Dan's character completely changed from strong and independent to an emotional wreck. I'm so tired of her crying every episode. You may cry once or twice and get a reaction from me, but not afterwards.

YOU ARE SO RIGHT! I FORGOT!! YES, that's the actual reason—that dang ego. I totally forgot he ran his butt up to the airport with some pocket cash to be met with disappointment. I can't stand Sa Ra. She had a baby and gave it away to the man she had a crush on and the woman she befriended. Later, to work in their house to be close to the child. She may have always had her eyes on Mr. Lee, even with the wife alive and healthy. She is a loose crew. After learning her intentions, I would make sure she never stepped foot in my house again.
I'm about to be mean. Forget Mr. Park with his cheating, poor decision-making self. Anna may have had to level up and leave because he's a foolish man. She might not have achieved her goals with Mr. Park by her side. Leaving Dan Dan would be her biggest regret, but would their lives be better if she had stayed.
It's a thing to have an absent parent that lives in the household with you--abuse, alcoholism, depression, some mental disorder, etc.
It's heartbreaking that she left her newborn and lover in a terrible situation, but he had to overcome and press forward. Life is hard as hell. Using his greedy dimwitted wife to lie for him was also a poor choice. Anyway, there is more to Anna's story. We may never know because the writer is a flip-flopper.
All this stems from watching two episodes of him putting his hands on Anna. Yet, we've watched his dimwitted wife and her foolish son make life a struggle for him and Dan Dan. We've watched 20 episodes of Sa Ra and her mother using despicable tricks to marry Mr. Lee, and now we're going to watch her love blossom with Cha Gun.
The writer is slapping us with the back of her hand.

Right. I can't stand her and Sa Ra. She was stupid enough to take the mistress charge all these years. Her fault, it was despicable for her husband to ask her to ruin her reputation. Mr. Park threatens to divorce her over anything but losing his money and house TWICE--no threats of divorce. We also see Mr. Park hit and choke Anna more than once. She left, he was hurt, we get it, but I don't condone the violence. His perspectives are so messed up. Dan Dan is dum too. The writer has let me conclude that the majority of these characters are trash or just dum. The kids are smarter than the adults.
Finally finished this 52 long epis. Would have enjoyed the show much much more if Vic had not portrayed himself…
lol. I just responded to another post about his character. I saw a YouTube interview with the screenwriter, ML, and FL. As you mentioned, the ML was meant to be flamboyant--a metrosexual or an effeminate type of ML. You hear that even men adore him throughout the show, so he's definitely a different type of ML hero. I enjoyed the show because it was different. He was loving on the FL. :)
What's happening here?
Great actors and it was a high-budget production. The script should have been changed somewhere close to the end.
