I think it's taboo to mention that part of the novel on this thread. I said it once, and everyone, including their momma, came after me. LMBO. It's not centered around romance, but we see there are females interested in him, but he seems to be only interested in one. :)

Don't get excited about romance. lol. Try to stay focused on the storyline. You will enjoy.

Only two days left... The last ten episodes have been more than great! I am mentally preparing myself to wait for season 2.

I'm on episode 5, and the lead female's character is annoying me based on her persistence and overstepping personal boundaries with Cheif Kim. She's a habitual line stepper. I DO like the storyline so far. Let me see where this goes. :)

The writer is full of nonsense. We're addicted to this crack show. I'm glad your daughter has the opportunity to go abroad and immerse in a culture other than American culture. I'm also American, but I appreciated my time in the military and traveling abroad. It's an eye-opener. When I was a school counselor, I encouraged the students to travel abroad if the opportunity allowed, but understand and respect the culture and go with an open mind. :)

Yes, this writer is full of nonsense. I was thinking PPD at first too and then her chasing a dream. She said she felt smothered and Mr. Park gave up on his dream of being a painter. She snapped and left for her own mental health. Not saying she was right, but mental health is real and it consumes the whole family not just one person.

Laughing at the previews. I can't wait till tomorrow. Who cares if Mr. Park is mad or not? I'm curious.

Anna and Sa Ra are almost the same in a sense--hear me out.

Anna hasn't told DD or Mr. Park the truth as if it won't come out. That will lead to some rejection. I'm sure DD will forgive her quickly. She acts like a saint that cries all the time, BUT Mr. Park, on the other hand, might introduce Anna's right cheek to the four fingers and a thumb.

Then we have Sa Ra. Sa Ra has been lurking around her biological son for five years. Adoptions are not shared custody. She's not respecting the family's privacy by taking advantage of the wife's friendship and working in the house. Plus, no one has proven to be wise. Didn't the deceased wife know that Sa Ra had a crush on Mr. Lee? Just a little? She would have never entered my house; friends are not.

Sa Ra working for the family and trying to marry Mr. Lee with lies is crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if she killed the wife. I take that back; she's crazy and delusional--not evil. Anyway, Mr. Lee and his entire family will find her uncomfortable as soon as they learn her motives.

Mr. Park might be right; she might not be that smart. So do we say she's just aloof and excuse her ignorance, or do we label her evil and conniving? I don't think she's evil. I think she is slow but also greedy, which interferes with her decision-making skills. She's almost child-like.

She doesn't love that man. They need to end their agreement called marriage. The children are grown. One has benefited more than the other. I feel bad for even saying end the marriage, but it doesn't make sense to me.

I know, right!? Common sense. Mr. Park has lost his way, but I don't feel sorry for him either.

I don't like the step-mom with her snooping around people's house butt. You can clean, but don't go through the photo albums. She's just like her mother. I talked about the grandmother too. They all have some issues. The grandmother didn't help Mr. Park but kept him in debt. Those darn in-laws.

The stepmother rather be called the mistress to keep her get-over-life, just like she rather send her husband to the US for $100,000 a year. She rather be at the bottom of the barrel by choice.

I did too, but recently watched one episode and regretted it! I rather read the comments every week than watch it. It’s too painful to watch.
