I agree. If I were Gulf and had to act those scenes with Mew, I would also turn red like a tomato!!! Mew is extremely handsome, is those kind of guys that immediately get your attention even if he were in the middle of a crowd, and yes, I also agree that he has that aura that.... I don't think that Tharn will ever cheat on Type though, if something happened, then must have been when they broke up, so technically is not cheating.
