Oh yes!!!! I liked the chemistry between New and Earth in Waterboyy!!!! The 2nd kiss was really hot!!!! And the 1st one wasn't bad either. I think Earth really used all his strengths to pinned down New in that scene!!! I really wanted to see Earth Pirapat in another BL series so I'm glad that he's the main character of A Tale of a Thousand Stars. I agree that Max and Tul had the hottest kisses in TWM, even though sometimes Tul wasn't fully committed like Max, but like I said, that's an usual problem with the actors that portrays the bottom in the couple. Bad Romance was the first one to be filmed of the 3, so that's why the awkward kissing. And we better not talk about TWM: The Next Chapter. So far, Gulf and Mew are the leaders on my list of Asian BL's best kisses, the 2nd place goes to Max and Tul of course for TWM, and the 3rd place goes to Baba Ryoma and Naito Taiki for Takumi kun Series 4: Pure, that was one heck of a kiss!!!

I was thinking the same thing, he didn't even blushed when his face got really close with Puifai's, while with Mew he even blush by just talking from behind(when Type is apologizing to Tharn), so I agree, it only happens with Mew. Mew and Gulf are setting the bar so high right now when talking about level of comfort, that I don't know if it will be a good thing or a bad thing.

Months ago I was also in the same situation and I end up devastated and depressed. I got over it too but was so difficult, because just like Tharn, I had to see his face everyday. I also liked that Tharn didn't go out with other guys just to make Type jealous, and that Type realized everything by himself. BTW, did you see Gulf's ear when Mew brushed his hair and called him "good boy"?!?! It was so red!!!!! And the make-up kiss O.O wow, just wow, I like how Mew holds Gulf head while kissing. And another thing that I love is how they look each others eyes when their faces are very close, it feels so intimate, just like a real couple.

I have to say that non other BL series has made cry like TharnType did in episode 6. When they were fighting in the room, I was feeling so sad, my heart was in pain, but what really brought me to tears was Tharn's face when Type told him that he couldn't go to watch him play with the band and when he said that he'll ask Puifah to be his girlfriend, MY GOD!!!! Mew portrayed the heartbreak so great that I lost it!!! And I felt even worse when he tried to be supportive and to maintain a happy face like "I'm cool with it" when he almost couldn't, I've been there, I know how it feels, and it's devastating and exhausting trying to keep a happy face when you feel so alone and depressed inside. I actually don't know who I hated the most on that scene, Type for saying those words, Tharn for trying to be so comprehensive or me for being triggered with that scene. And then, came the apology. I never thought that I could forgive someone(a character) so fast, so I understand why also Tharn did it. When Type hugged Tharn so tenderly but at the same time so tight and said "I'm sorry" I started crying like a baby!!! He kept apologizing and finally said all the things that were going through his head and all the feelings that he kept inside, while on the other hand Tharn couldn't believe what he was hearing and tried to find excuses to explain himself and Type that maybe he was just confused. The dialogue in this scene is so simple but so believable and relatable, and could only be enhanced by the outstanding performance of Mew and Gulf. Also the music was perfect, playing in the background a simple guitar song that conveyed Type's sadness and regrets for everything he has said and done to Tharn.
I agree with you. The first part for how was written and especially executed feels more comedic than dramatic...
It didn't work for me either because I also laughed, and the music was too loud, and I also think the song wasn't the best for that particular scene, and In's father has some serious late reaction issues!!!!
Ok, I just watched the 1st episode and I kind of like it. Maybe I was the only one who didn't feel so sad at the beginning, I mean, it is a sad story but there were some things that kept me from feeling the emotions, like the song they used in the background when In was crying besides Korn's body was too loud or In's father who has some seriously late reaction issues(he just said something after almost 5 seconds of In pointing the gun to his own head) or if In and Korn's story is set in the 70's why everyone keep wearing clothes that doesn't fit with the 70's looks?!?!? It got better when they focused the story in the present, I loved the scene when Pham meets Dean for the first time, you can see all the emotions in his face. Samantha, she's my girl as always, but it seems that she just acts as herself instead of the character, but maybe her character is like that?! I like the chemistry of Fluke, Samantha and Prem when they are together, you can see some scenes came out very natural, a little bit fast for them to be already best friend, but ok. Ohm's acting was better than expected, I have to say. I like the story so far, but for now, what actually makes me want to keep watching the series is the 2nd couple. I have to admit that I have a thing for Win, I found him hot af with those piercings, that blonde hair and those tattoos that I couldn't see in this episode, and I love that he's kind of mischievous, while Team on the other hand is kind of innocent and naive?! Love them, and I can't wait to see more of this couple, I just hope that they get more screentime than TinCan in LBC. For now, this is the only series that makes want to watch next episode, besides TharnType.
