Khemjira is a 12-episode Thai BL series that mixes supernatural elements with romance. The story follows Khem, a young man cursed to die before 21, and his journey to break the family curse with the help of Pharan, a skilled shaman.The series wasn’t quite what I expected, but I got drawn in anyway. The new actors did a great job, and the lead couple had fantastic chemistry that made their relationship feel real and engaging. The second couple also had good chemistry, but their romance felt almost unnecessary in the story. It seemed a bit forced to fit in so many gay couples, which slightly took away from the authenticity of the main narrative.
Khemjira feels fresh compared to many other Thai BL series. The story is exciting, and the supernatural angle makes it stand out. It might have been a little long at times, and the plot could have been tightened up, but it kept me watching from start to finish.
Overall, I really enjoyed the series and the journey of the characters. I hope the lead couple gets to star together in more projects because their chemistry was one of the highlights. It’s a nice change from the usual Thai BL shows and worth watching if you want something a bit different and a little more adventurous.

A gripping dive into the Omegaverse
ABO Desire is a 16-episode Chinese BL series set in the Omegaverse. The story follows Hua Yong, a rare Enigma posing as an Omega, who becomes entangled with the powerful Alpha, Sheng Shaoyou.As someone new to the Omegaverse genre, I found myself initially confused after the first episode. The whole concept with Alphas, Betas, Omegas, and Enigmas was completely new to me and a bit confusing. The series almost requires that you take some time to understand what the Omegaverse is in order to follow the story properly. I didn’t think I would like it at first, but I quickly got hooked. By the midpoint, I even looked up the original novel and read it, which gave the series an extra dimension since not everything from the book was included in the show.
The performances were solid, and the chemistry between the leads was really good, making their complicated relationship feel believable and engaging. The series is visually interesting with a dark, intense atmosphere that fits the story.
The only downside was the finale. It felt rushed and could have benefited from an extra episode to properly wrap things up. Still, despite the hurried ending, I really enjoyed the journey, got emotionally invested in the characters, and would recommend this series to anyone curious about the Omegaverse.
I’ve watched a lot of Thai series lately, so I wanted to try something new — and this was definitely that for me. It’s a completely different kind of storytelling, and if you haven’t seen similar series or films before, you need to go in with an open mind and definitely not compare it to Hollywood shows. I, for one, am now curious to watch more Chinese series and will definitely keep an eye out for more Omegaverse stories in the future.

My Stubborn Special Episode is an extra addition to the main series, so it’s important to watch the full show first to understand what’s going on. The specials don’t have much plot but focus on spending more time with the main characters after their relationship finally begins.The episodes highlight how Sorn has softened, while Jun shows more maturity, courage and confidence. There are several longer explicit sex scenes that feel natural and not forced in the story, though they do take up a bit more time than some viewers might expect.

A Polished Period Drama That Doesn’t Quite Deliver
Even though the series has good actors and looks beautiful, Memoir of Rati doesn’t really reach the level I hoped for. It has some nice moments, but overall the story feels weak and a bit too simple. The series is about a Thai nobleman and a French translator with Thai roots who meet during a difficult political time. Their relationship grows despite cultural and historical differences, and they are forced to make hard choices between love and duty.I really wanted to like this show, especially because I usually enjoy series from this production company. And with Great and Inn in the lead roles—two actors I really like—I expected something much stronger. The acting is actually one of the better parts of the show, and many other viewers agree. The music is also well done and adds emotion in the right scenes.
But unfortunately, the story didn’t live up to my expectations. It’s hard not to compare it with I Feel You Linger in the Air, which also had a kind of Romeo and Juliet feeling but was much more emotional and believable. *Memoir of Rati* felt more like a Disney production—pretty to look at, but too simple in both story and characters. The costumes and locations were nice, but also a bit too clean and soft, like the show was afraid to show anything dark or real.
I also think the characters didn’t feel very real. Their choices didn’t always make sense, and I never really felt their connection in the way the show wanted me to. It’s sad to say, but I don’t think the writers managed to make the characters truly believable.
Still, if you’re a fan of Great and Inn, I think it’s worth watching. Just don’t expect too much. There are a few good scenes, and the actors do their best with what they’re given. In the end, Memoir of Rati had the potential to be something more, but it didn’t quite get there. Beautiful on the outside, but missing the depth it needed to leave a real impact.

Promising Plot, Laid-Back Vibe – But This BL Never Really Hooks You
I appreciate that we're starting to see some different kinds of BL series—not just the typical school settings and cliché enemy-to-lovers themes—so I had some hopes for this one. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite hold up all the way.Lost in the Woods tells the story of Fifa, a spoiled city boy who is forced to move to the countryside and live a completely different life. There, he meets Hem, a mature and quiet man who has chosen a life close to nature, and their lives slowly begin to intertwine. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the plot – the idea of personal growth and maturing as a person when placed in an unfamiliar environment with new responsibilities is a classic and potentially compelling theme. Unfortunately, the script doesn’t deliver on that promise. The pacing is painfully slow, and very little actually happens throughout the entire series. It feels like each episode could have been half as long and still told the same story.
The romantic relationship between Fifa and Hem is particularly difficult to grasp. Why would a calm, emotionally mature man fall in love with a boy who behaves like an immature teenager? There’s no real development in their bond, no clear reason why they would be attracted to each other beyond perhaps Fifa's admiration for Hem’s composed nature.
The series maintains a soft, feel-good atmosphere throughout, which might appeal to some viewers but ends up feeling unrealistic. Everyone seems to be leisurely enjoying life on the farm, despite supposedly doing hard physical labor – it’s a romanticized, almost sanitized version of rural life. This portrayal can feel oddly disconnected from the personal struggles the characters are supposed to be going through.
Visually, Lost in the Woods is stunning at times. The scenic views of what appears to be northern Thailand are truly beautiful. However, the cinematography often feels like it belongs in a tourism advertisement rather than a drama series. These scenes, though aesthetically pleasing, don’t match the tone or pacing of the rest of the show and come across as somewhat misplaced.
One aspect I did genuinely appreciate was the ending. It’s not a traditional happy ending, but it’s fitting and surprisingly grounded. The characters go their separate ways, and that choice felt more believable than forcing a romantic conclusion that wouldn’t have made sense based on the rest of the narrative.

It’s easy to see how some of the stories could have been expanded into their own full-length series. The characters are well-written and have enough depth that viewers are left wanting more of their stories.
The performances are generally heartfelt, with the cast capturing the innocence and vulnerability of young love with authenticity. Visually, the series is charming and understated, complementing its focus on character over spectacle. While "Close to You" doesn’t venture into highly dramatic territory, it is a satisfying and comforting watch for anyone seeking a heartfelt and slow-burn LGBTQ romance.
That said, one downside of the show is that it doesn't offer much new in terms of concept or execution. Too Much Fluff, Too Little Story
Unfortunately, a disappointment filled with unnecessary caracters and fluff. The show presents itself as a sports-themed, enemies-to-lovers romance—but barely delivers on either front.While the chemistry between the two leads was quite good and their "enemy to lover" arc was one of the more coherent elements, the overall execution of the series was weak. For a drama that marketed itself as being set in a football world, there was barely any actual football theme. Looking back, I honestly don’t know what the series was really about more than the enemy to lover part of the plot.
Several characters served little to no purpose and felt like filler added just to stretch out the episodes. Many scenes dragged or were clearly there to pad runtime rather than drive the story. And while LGBTQ+ representation is always welcome, having nearly every single character in both teams be gay—and all magically pair off by the end—felt more like fan-service than meaningful storytelling. It just wasn’t believable or grounded in any kind of reality.
Some of the side couples had cute moments, and the soundtrack was light and pleasant, which added a bit of charm. But those few positives weren’t enough to save a story that lacked focus, depth, or direction. I really wanted to like FC Soldout, but in the end, it just didn’t deliver.

One of the biggest issues was the total lack of chemistry between the two leads, they never felt believable as a couple. Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri's portrayal of a more awkward, silly and clumsy character is a interesting contrast to his usual serious roles,.
The show has its share of silly moments, but they don’t detract from the overall appeal. One of the standout aspects is the music, especially the theme song, which fits the tone perfectly and adds to the fun vibe. The musical elements, though unexpected, were surprisingly well-integrated into the storyline.
That said, the show isn’t without its flaws. Some parts can feel a bit predictable, and the humor might not be for everyone. However, it remains a charming and enjoyable watch for anyone looking for a light comedy.
