8.1 is way too low for this drama. I wonder why do some people rated it that low? The story, cinematography, acting, pacing are definitely top notch. The MC and his wife are likeable too, I love how cheeky and selfish the MC is, usually in this genre, the MC is just the generic naive good hero. But this MC is broken yet very strong mentally.
I also think the pacing is better than the manga, because later in the manga the story became kinda repetitive like either the author didn't know what to do or wanted milking the series. So this pacing is perfect for this story.
This drama is so good, one of the best I've ever seen, especially for horror genre. More people need to watch this!

From the synopsis alone, this seems sooo similar to Hero, but the chance they plagiarized it is almost zero because Hero is famous even in Korea, nowadays plagiarizing famous works especially from Japan is just suicide, especially since Koreans are angry with China cause the same reason. Hope there's no controversy about it.

Well agree to disagree then. Just like people saying to not eat at this restaurant or stay at this hotel because they have bad experience there, telling people to not watch things is okay too in my books, same like people saying "Please watch this serieeees!!" it's all just opinions. We don't have to care that much about some strangers opinions.

While I don't agree with those low rating reviews. People can telling everyone to watch things because they liked it and vice versa. That's literally how a "recommendation" works.
