I will post a bit unpopular opinion here. Happy ending seems "likely" to happen. Even though I can't hope for it too much, I do believe that happy ending will be presented. I already saw many spoiler images and when I put them together, I can't help but to think the unseemingly happy ending. But again, You and I should not hope for it too much. Also, I am the one who thinks NS3 is more fascinating to watch than human NS. As much as I admit of how cool human NS is presented, I would love to see more "innocent" main lead. The one who can develop from the beginning. The one who builds his identity. NS already developed his character. The one who lacks of care and love and makes him "evil". He already experienced a lot of pain and he is hard to change. In the contrary, NS3 is like a "baby" who learns how the world is. And now he is learning how to develop emotion. That's more interesting because I love sci-fi and fantasy

The first rule isn't necessarily being the top priority, the rule can adjust and he can change it for the better sake. That's why after So Bong told him to hug when someone wants comfort, he "judged"that she was right, he adjusted the rules. And that's how we, as human, actually do. We always adjust our rules and setting our priorities. His first priority is clearly protecting Kang So Bong. The other rule and priority follow. If he has to mess with others to protect So Bong, he will do that. Just like how we set our priorities, we may break it, because of the top one. I think the author intends to show us about humanity. And this robot is presented as someone who wants to be a human, so for doing it, he needs to adjust and maybe break his rule and certainly this robotic rules.
