No that's true, I never really thought about youtube being more censored, but I guess it makes sense. Bit sad that they change a part of the series based on platform though, might not be something the writers like either. But it's understandable ;)

You wrote this so beautifully, it made me sob again
thanks, I was crying even when writing. It hit some personal feelings. and I just can't get that image out of my head.
Made an account just for this ending. and still sobbing over the last episode.
I kept thinking about all the metaphors in this story. Of course the bridge, but also the screen in the room, where it seems to be mostly Wang approaching In behind the screen. The bridge that Wang build.. Mol and Wang driving away from the house kind of tied all that together. The way they filmed that scene was so amazingly beautiful and heartbreaking. I just saw In literally as that 52 Hz whale.
-hidden in his house and I felt so immensely sad in that moment (probably also because it touches some personal feelings, wanting to love and be loved but also not allowing yourself to for different reasons. Scared of losing or hurting others, afraid you don't deserve it, afraid to be hurt yourself)-
In is just standing in at the entrance of his giant beautiful house he build and you just feel that he is closing up again, cutting himself off from the world, because the one person that helped him open up is going away.
He has that bridge now, but he is not crossing it, knows it's secure and safe, he won't open up to others.
I really have to command the whole crew for how well that scene was translated.

This is one of those series where I totally understand the closed ending, I felt like this is what the whole story is about. The way people deal with grief, the way we might close up, find comfort in those that experienced the same, and the way some may not be able to move on from it, maybe because it is of the comfort that long time grief may bring, though painful it is almost like an addiction. So some people might get out of the night like Wang said, and some might not ever experience the daylight again. Because of this ending it feels like a really deliberate choice of In to stay where he is, and it feels like that is a large part of what the writer wanted to portray. I feel in the end it's a story about In and his pain and seeing that from another (wang's) point of view makes a lot of sense. This series is definitely stronger because it was a determined ending.
