Who would give away the name of the whistleblower (witness) to the culprit. I really thought DoBe Man purposely…
You have to consider the subtitles are a translation if you are using them. Not every single thing is written. Also, there are colloquials and subtle implications that cannot be explained in subtitles.
First: Cha Woo In was heading for the press conference to check on Do Bae Man. She diverted her course when he called. Sergeant Gu himself had been anticipating some kind of intercept, but they didn't foresee it happening before the press conference. Both men thought it would happen after. Which is why he was pumped. That General Hong was able to provide thugs for the mine hero as well as Sgt Gu's location in less than 24 hours is a feat of wonder.
Also, reporters in SK claim not to assume things. A bloody face could have meant anything. False reports and assumptions can ruin a reporter's career.
I, however, can assume major general Noh only run a scan on the room after Mine Hero was released,.at which point the prosecutors were no longer watching.
I am guessing they have lives outside of work. This whole episode seemed to be focused on how much of a secret they want to keep their relationship. Some scenes did not seem to have heads - just tails.
"What happens when you drink more that usual?" I think I'd have yelled, "I get horny!!!" at him. But... so.... Is that scene supposed to be sexy? Yet no kisses, at the very least? Why is Kang Tae Moo so reserved around Miss Shin?
Maybe I shall watch again after some rest to see if I missed anything.
This pretty much sums up all I like and dislike about C-dramas. However, I also hate long filler episodes with very little substance. I imagine that there are people like me who are not watching C-dramas for any exciting or revealing life lessons per se, or for that oomph that keeps you up at night, anyway.
I hope "Now We Are Breaking Up" is watching how it's done. I have learned a lot about the weather and how to read it, but this has not got in the way of the romance or lack of it. I am really enjoying this very much.
This is a great article. Thanks for the laughs.

Your post is a spoiler, so is mine.

Maybe not. Hahahahaha...
Good article, though.
He's too impulsive and condescending, but I don't think he deserves to die. ☹️
