Don't understand why Brother Judge didn't let the police (or his brother) know that the convict had the addresses of some of the jurors.

Seems Kopiko will also be making an appearance in this drama.

I love how consistent this drama was. All the sub-plots were neatly tied up, no romance to muddle things up and the characters were likeable. Kim Se Jeong was bright as Ma Eum, it was almost impossible to believe she was the same actor that did Uncanny Counter. Every time Nam Yoon Su smiled, the world just seemed like a slightly better place. Choi Daniel made you want to tell him all your problems.

There is a place for dramas like this and even if there are things I personally wished were done differently, what they did worked for me still.

Do not watch if you're looking for plenty of angst, drama or action. This is feel-good on steroids.

Love it so much. The fantasy+sci-fi+historical+action soup is exactly my taste. Love how all the chaos comes together towards the end. The cast chemistry was 10/10 and the humour was on point. Like that the film doesn't take itself too seriously (and you shouldn't either).

The CGI got the job done and the aliens were believable. Super hyped for part 2.

Ah. And they'll still get a "happy" ending.

I did not expect to like this so much. All the tropes are very well done and leads are killing their roles. The way Dongfang is cold and unfeeling but becomes a softie for Orchid, love it. I hope he doesn't lose his powers as part of the plot for any reason. Ep 10 here I come.

I have more fun reading the comments here than fast-forwarding my way through the show. I'm just really glad that for once almost everyone is on the same page where this show is concerned.

That elevator scene was the only part I didn't fast forward because I could not believe they'd go all the way with that nonsense.

The twist. The turns. The drama!

I like that the writers are destroying viewer predictions at every turn. And how the different personalities of the sisters shine through in their choices even though they're all poor. Much like how people will watch the same drama and come away from it with vastly different takes.

The great-aunt knows her nephew is useless that's why she refused to help him. He's such an ass. I hope a mango falls on his head and kills him.

I think what's great about this series is that the acting and cinematography were enough to keep people watching even when they were confused af. For me, though, I have a mystery threshold and this went over it. Kinda lost interest around ep 4 so I guess I wasn't motivated to find the breadcrumbs to clear my confusion.

All that internal monologue makes me want to hit my head against something. They can take that out and we would not be missing anything. That said, the actors are giving their pay's worth and more. The acting is my favourite part of this. Especially Mol. She's killing the role of a manipulative mother and vengeful friend. This is not going to be a happy ending. Imagine going against her? In and Wang are learners.

Bew baby whatchu doing? No contract? Even with blood relations you sign a contract, talk less of a business mummy.

One episode in and I love this so much. Excited for all the possibilities the plot holds. The cast is delivering so far. Enjoyed the cameo of the actor from It's Beautiful Now as the mum.

Maybe if the male lead was cold or unfriendly or even slightly unlikeable, the female lead and townspeople wouldn't come off as such annoying busybodies. And this is supposed to be a comedy but nothing really funny has happened in two episodes. I'd like to say I'll revisit this at a later time but I doubt that'll happen.

I usually like small-town dramas (and all the tropes) but this first episode isn't working for me. Maybe because I felt the main lead's anxiety and he didn't have time to recover from it before being thrust into ridiculous situations. And the female lead's disrespect for personal space and boundaries really rubs me the wrong way. I just hope the second episode offers better.

I've only watched clips of this on YT and I've completely forgotten that Kim Go Eun was Yumi. Such a powerful actress breathing life into roles. Can't wait to start this drama.
