OK so personally I wish that Mhok had had more sympathy shown for his grief during the show and it was explored a little more. I know it was eventually done but I'd have liked it to have had more time and been throughout. I wish Day had been more sympathetic to him and understood his decisions rather than just being mad at him for pitying him and ending it completely for years. However this is a drama so it's gonna be dramatic and they needed to work on themselves. Do wish he'd said sorry for hurting him though and understood Mhoks trauma more.
I don't mind that Day got his sight back as they still showed blind people having good successful lives, including Day while blind. However I get why people think it would have been beneficial if he didn't. I also take issue with this continued theme of what's "normal". I still think they did well, they tried hard with the representation and had some beautiful moments and quotes. They still showed that Day didn't need his sight to be successful and happy, he got it back after that was achieved already.
Overall the story and acting were phenomenal and I really don't have many complaints. The cinematography too was just divine. A phenomenal show. As Thai BL's go this is definitely one for the books.
I don’t see her as being selfish. I see her as being extremely over protective, which Day certainly doesn’t…
you should probably put spoilers btw She hires him as a carer and then suddenly she thinks he can't care for her son properly. It makes no sense. by all means there needs to be a boundary and she may be angry at him but trying to stop her son having any contact and taking away the one person he really relied on isn't really protecting him. if she wasn't over-protective he wouldn't be sneaky and she'd actually do better at protecting him. not sure what u mean by calling her selfish being a copout complaint lol I can find her annoying she's not real😂 also being selfish is a choice not natural nature that's a cop out excuse. hoping from rhe last scene she's come round now anyway

But her protectiveness is selfish. being over protective because you also want to protect yourself is a selfish thing to do. it's hard to let your children go but if your protectiveness is actually making their lives worse then you're not protecting them you're protecting yourself. I mean forcefully isolating someone is just wrong. also blaming her other son for not caring for him properly!? while she also doesn't become his carer? yeaaaah nah she's not had many redeeming moments thus far
OK I'm still watching this episode so maybe someone does but can someone please tell the mum to get over herself 😅 she can be so selfish ffs. if I was Mhok I'd say ok I'm quitting as his carer but I'll be here to see him tomorrow as his boyfriend
Evil Son (Madame Ju's son) read the Demon handbook he stole from Guwon. We now know (via Episode 12) Guwon's backstory.…
Ooooo maybe and there's the abraxas story so maybe he knew something extra before the book? He's definitely evil though so many hints at him being the devil
Thoughts and theories after ep 12... -his blabber mouth servant is probably another reincarnation of Mr park right? Him blabbering now is also what made star Jin know too much and talk Do Do-hee into sacrificing herself -He gave Wolsin the cross necklace much like how she took the cross tattoo. She then sacrificed herself like she tried to before the car crash. HOWEVER she didn't die this time. He changed the fate!? - He deliberately didn't want to go to heaven, he wasn't always bad he was just angry with God. I don't think he's quite the evil devil. I still think Noh Suk Min is. When it flashed came back to present we had the whole Abraxas destroyed the world to become the devil thing. maybe that's the fate that's playing out. He drives everyone around him crazy scratching themselves, talking about sin etc ... I don't know how this will play out yet but its my theory rn...though Madam Ju seeing him and the possible contract with her parents has me at a loss rn "until the world is different our fate will be the same"- is the world different enough now? he broke some of God's expectations and its the modern day so I hope so - "I'll show you that love can save a person" I really hope you do because I need a happy ending to this. P L E A S E . can "God" please stop with this "happiness can be poisonous" can it not please?🤣
The right amount of humour, tension, and sweetness. Good chemistry, good cinematography and the right length for everything it did. what an absolute hidden gem 💎 if I had to say anything it would be a little more on the "side couple" but we still got some good bits and that cut at the end was rude🤣
It's when a piece of art refers to itself and this is multi layered because its a story about the actors of a BL drama based off a manga while also itself being a BL drama based off a manga. it isn't just a BL and BL its a BL drama based on a manga about a BL drama based on a manga 🤣🤣 love it
I really loved this. at first I wasn't sure but it just got better and better. The cast is amazing, the production is the best I've seen in a Jdrama tbh and I just loved it. really hope there's a season 2 because I want to see more of the little "gang" that's been created. I'll probably go and find the anime now. I hope to see more high budget fantasy like tbis from Japan though fingers crossed and will definitely be looking into the casts other works
For sure! From my understanding of ep8, it seems like they were trying to weave in some kind of sibling tensions…
ahhhh yes and now the dad has appeared we may get more information there. I just feel like he keeps guilting Night about being blind and also alot about the car so maybe they argued right before rhe accident or he had something to do with the accident but yeah I totally forgot about rhe raised separately thing....interesting. we shall seee
I'm sure the tension between Day and Night is due to the accident...it must be. I can't wait to actually see what exactly happened there... at the moment I feel sorry for Night
also very nervous that there will be issues between Day and Mhok. it's an inevitability I'm sure because plot but boy oh BOY is it going to HURT my dudes
I hope not tbh. that part of bad buddy kinda annoyed me that they were keeping secrets because I want love to be love I guess.....hmmm I really hope they don't break up for 3 years it seems out of character for these 2 atm but we shall seeee what events make it that way maybe it'll be justified
in the novel yes but we dk if the serie will make some changes or not
I hope they do in some ways just to show that there can be a happy ending without being "cured" of a disability. however I also think it's fair if he does it depends how they go about it...I'm hoping they make a few tweaks to rhe novel though
in my opinion NSM killed Do Hee Parents thatwise Madam Ju feels so guilty like she wrote in that letter she gave…
yes I've been thinking he killed them for a while...or something she did ended up in their dying. I also think he may actually be the devil cuz of the imagery and what he said. Madam Ju seemed genuinely scared of him and she had a lot of religious guilt ....it'll be interesting to see how it unfolds
