100%. BL is what i grew up on as a queer person with only that as any alternative relationship representation. However, a lot of BL has toxicity,fetishism and was exclusive in its own way. I don't think BL needs to go but seeing it evolve and seeing it pave the way for more inclusive stories to slowly make their way through is defo positive.
this is less BL and more an overall LGBTQ+ coming of age and exploration of friendship. its beautiful. I feel the lower ratings likely come from people expecting a traditional BL storyline so u may find parts of this surprising if you're looking for that. however if ur LGBTQ+ I think you'll appreciate it and it's beautifully done
I'm not sure about how the represented the "treatment" for intersex people. however I am not intersex myself so I can't comment much. it's good to see some representation though even if it starts a bit iffy it's in a positive light that hopefully can lead to more and more representation

It's fair enough but they were both pretty plastered, yet still aware of what they were doing. neither forgot and they seemed sober in the afterword bit so 🤷♀️ not disagreeing but just wanted to point that out in case you hadn't seen it 😊

Parts of this were silly but honestly overall it was heartfelt, BEAUTIFULLY acted and worth the watch. I absolutely adored the representation, it felt natural and well done. I honestly would have liked more of the second couple too and less "oops I fell moments" I feel like other clichés and tropes could have been used ahaha but it was good.
