just finished the final episode. really enjoyed it, although i would have enjoyed it a lot more, had they not written mizuki to be one of the dumbest retards in television history. the woman was pure evil and straight up human trash.
i just watched the first 12 minutes of episode 10 and i cant take the mom anymore. she was annoying and obnoxious throuout the show, but right now she qualifies for dumbest, most insufferable, worst parent in korean television history. she managed to make the scene all about herself and being mad at her child who had to deal with cancer. wow. just wow. if this was my mother i would never talk a single word to her again, until the day she finally dieds. f**k her.
i have never written a comment before, but mizuki is such an infuriating character that i have to. first she coerced natsu to sign the abortion, which he clearly disagreed with. then she straight up lied to him. she took away his choice of being a father. she broke off the relationship with him, breaking his heart. she stole 7 years of not only his time with his daugther, but also 7 years of umi being with her father. (what wouldve happened if she never got ill? NEVER tell him/her? seriously?) she was acting like a spoiled brat around her parents. THEN she took advantage of a guy who clearly had a crush on her, to get a free babysitter, because, surprise, surpirse, raising a child by herself is difficult af. she was either a dense airhead for not realising his feelings, or just plain evil for knowing it. she casually rather asked a (then) stranger for help, instead of her parents, because ... pride, i guess? if all of that wasnt enough, she then refused cancer treatment, because that is what sane people do, still taking advantage of poor tsuno. i understand that the writters try to paint her like this tragic heroine, but to me she comes across as a walnut size, smooth brain, heinously evil person. again, she stole 7 years from natsu. if this was the reverse, people would come for him with pitchforks in the comments.
