To end her story with making her a second disciple of Situ Lang Lang after Changge, they provide her with that wish. That's a cute wrap. They could have just shown her being adopted by any one but they chose to inform the viewer of her future life as well, that everything is secured for each one of them

But in short, they both does not have parents anymore so they themselves did it, no formal method followed. Changge, accepts his proposal and took him as her husband. They are very strongly together in the last few episodes, doesn't matter if they were standing with each other or not.
