I was so desperate for this to air that I started reading the novel last night. The beginning in essence is same but still very different and Fang Fei in that was very clear about his role in her demise. All in all, I still don't care about his 1000 shades of grey.

The trailers promised me a lot and the novel has been on my tbr list since forever and THEY DELIVERED!!! I am here after ep 1 and feeling a lot right now. Fang Fei and Jiang Li, both of these characters pulled me in. Their stories are gut-wrenching and their bonding over that... Loved their scenes, and the seriousness of it all, In contrast, ML's entry was way too dramatic lol and him already sniffing the wrong in Fang Fei's death is what I wanted. 'Them against the world ' is my favourite trope. For me, both the actresses nailed it in ep 1. "Living is the best revenge" Hell yeah! I am rooting for you both. OSTs are good too. I am sensing perfect, give me perfect.
I am here for everything going on, every character and arc except FL's character, just not feeling her at all. Thoroughly enjoying the writing, like you can stop and think a lot.
