Me too! I even bought the VIP Youku so I could watch the 25 episodes available. Because I can't wait for youtube episodes.

I love the importance of focusing on the individual characters arc & their relationships, it will bring much more richness to the story because we will invested in their characters.

Title can refer to the fact the Song Ah would have never (at least not as soon) have found out about her boyfriend's upcoming marriage to someone else unless Hyun Seung forced her to find out. I really like how Hyun Seung is proactive (bordering on being too aggressive and stalkerish) he was not afraid to take risks to show his interest and it paid off big time for him at least so far. I wish I could be more like him instead of waiting for love to come to you he went after it full on with full transparency. I have not finished watching Episode 13, yet. I am meandering. I hope they don't ruin this beautiful story with a hurried , tropey happy ending

I love the chemistry and the romance and I am thrilled for ZiO I think he deserves every bit of happiness from a romantic love. But Go Reum does seem like a different person - wearing dresses and playing the good wife/mother role. Should have seen more character development to get to that point. To be honest , I was surprised of her reaction to being pregnant- thought she would be stressed and conflicted about it interfering with her mission to find out the truth about her parents, not exactly on her to do list.

The original was so perfect and special , that drama will live in my heart forever. I had so many lingering feelings that I could not and did not want to start watching another drama right away. I don't think that a remake can compare. I may not want to watch it.

Fiery Priest is one of my favorite shows of all time! I was afraid the screenwriter couldn't top it or match it. I am all in! While you are waiting for new episodes to drop, go watch Fiery Priest. Woo. hoo, can't wait! This show is going to have it all! Action Comedy and characters and stories with a lot of heart!

This the best review that reflects my heartbreak. I've already responded to some ofthe other reviewers that are on the same page. so I am beginning to run out of steam to reply. Thank you for your words, I feel less alone in my grief. And wish this is all a bad dream and I 'll wake up the see the ending we all deserved.

I agree. It was hard for me to watch. I think sometimes the writers and /or producers underestimate the emotional intelligence of some of us viewers. The relationship and chemistry between the current day Bong Hwan and the King was the backbone of the drama and the reason why we were invested in the drama. The comedy was great but the drama was elevated beyond that because of their characters and their character development. There is no way So Yong could replace Bong Hwan's place in the king's heart. I was thrilled too that the writers were willing to change history and give the the king a successful and happier life as a king. But we as an audience and the characters were not given the emotional closure whether it be Bong Hwan going back in time to the king or a reincarnation in the future or a heart breaking acknowledgement to the end to a rich relationship.

I agree! The friendship and love between the soul of Bong Hwan and the King was what made the whole show for me. To reduce it to a superficial so called happy ending was a huge let down. I liked that they gave the king a revised history and fulfilling and productive reign (it is a fantasy so why not) but they could have taken it to the finish line and given the REAL couple a happy ending or at least acknowledge the loss and heartbreak each of them would have suffered at being permanently separated.

Same here. There is no way the King would not know! He is intelligent and one of the main reasons he fell in love with Mr. Queen (which he acknowledges several times during the drama) is for his/her uniqueness, he fell in love with Bong Hwan. Their conversations (another main part of their relationship) will in no way be the same. My heart breaks for the disregarding of this relationship which I feel crossed the boundaries of gender and was a love and friendship in the purest form. I am heartbroken. If Bong Hwan could have stayed or gone back would been the best ending for me, second best -some kind of future reincarnation would have been acceptable and at least acknowledged the relationship and chemistry that drove the whole show. The writers showing So Yong becoming more livelier and the ending scene where they keeping missing each other is very flat and superficial. Thanks for expressing what I feel and I do not feel as alone in my grief.

Drama Milk recaps, did not know, more I can read since I am obsessed, yay! My favorite drama is Untamed! And I am currently watching NIF slowly I am not at the bingeing point yet. What is SFD?

I feel like they address the heterosexual chef and king's relationship so well. They realistically show the chef's inner distress but in the end the beautiful friendship that developed first which is now a true love where they are both willing to sacrifice their life for the other goes beyond the boundaries of mere sexual parameters. I applaud the writer and the network for willing to go that path and they did it so magnificently it is a revelation for the characters and for us the viewers. Bravo!

I so agree! I end up watching each episode like at least three times because I cannot wait: before subs, partially subbed and fully subbed. Each time it's like a new revelation for me with each new subbing, and my expectations are exceeded when I read the subbed dialogue , so much joy for me. The writers and the actors are killing it!
