Very disappointed
This series should’ve just been called Chan Yeong in class 2 and it’s nothing more than an adaption in name and characters ; Heesu and Seung Won got so little time to develop they’re relationship and feelings for each other and while understand that we aren’t gonna get any kissing scene (the rating plus Ahn Ji Ho was still a minor at the time of filming) the real crimes were the terrible writing, pacing, straight washed scenes taking over, the massive amounts of time the tennis scenes took over, the massive amounts of misunderstandings/miscommunications, and the fact that they’re confessions to each other is sidelined to the last ten mins of the finale episode.Don’t even try to defend this show the only thing that helped it was the actor’s performances but even then so much wasted time and potential

Sweet story but feels overly congested and disjointed
There at points that I think of dropping this series only for the fact that specifically when other shows within the BL genre seem to do a lot better for context between one or more potential love interests for the main lead but Flirt Milk doesn’t really give any real indication just jumps to mediocre conflict1. It be one thing if Nom Jued any sense of foresight to see that both Pra Ark and Kirk are pursing him but his character personality is just so so like he’s college aged psychically but either mentally or emotionally behind (which could seem cute if it was playing more into it) but there a lot points where I just wanna hit my head against a wall cause of these kinda staggering character archetypes/tropes
2. Again this is a show where I have to question why there are two or more men who attracted to the ML for exactly how come? His nativity? His slightly controlling friends? Like yea he looks great without his glasses in that one or two episodes but his personality and word choices in convo come off so immature and awkward
3. I generally enjoy the side couples here especially with the way Pai’s and Roong’s relationship is paced; I also really like Beauty’s and Yingyam has a couple (but Jan is an unbearable thorn in everyone’s side)
Overall I think I will probably watch till the final episode currently we have 7/9 released so about two more weeks till the finale. I do really enjoy some the actors portrayals of they’re characters but the lack of cohension in the main story itself along with genuine motivation among the love interests pursuit of the ML is very very questionable
Rewatch value? 2.5/5

It’s a cute series but it’s a bit of a slough to get through
OffGun are amazing duo who compliment each other well and work outside of the couple as actors who can hold they’re pretty decently; I decided to give Cooking Crush a watch (as I have really only gotten into BL this past January and ongoing as well started watching they’re 2024 series The Trainee earlier then this one but still continuing that show) I started off with the series on YouTube but when I found out that that version is the cut version I started watching the uncut one starting mid episode threeThings I liked
1. The OST is amazing the intro song is so fun and they’re dancing in it is so hilarious
2. How Prem’s and Ten’s relationship already has a defined starting point to work off from and really doesn’t feel forced
3. The fact that Gun and his real life sister are siblings in this show
4. The dynamic set up to show the parallels between the culinary and medical worlds
5. The friend groups basically falling for one another( this one needed some work tho)
Things that could use some room for improvement
1. The ridiculousness of the pro chefs character look it’s one thing to be a professional chef who is the main face of a cooking competition show with they’re own restaurant that’s not the issue the issue isn’t even that he graduated from the same faculty as Prem. The main problem is that he falls for Prem after one interaction then tries to stake this claim also in doing so helps they’re team prepare theyre audition tape for the show he’s a special judge on (he should’ve recused himself then and there) then none of the issues with his and Ten’s confrontation would’ve impacted Prem and his teammates. The man was just unprofessional to the end
2. Ten’s dad was just ridiculous and he couldn’t save himself with his not telling actions excuse at the end not buying it
3. Last point not huge but I thought it would’ve made more sense for Samsee and Metha to be a couple as they’re onscreen a lot together and have similar chemistry to the other couples vs Samsee and Peng who I just don’t feel any real chemistry from
In all cute I’m definitely continue The Trainee and start Not Me to see how OffGun are in those vs this one not to mention how incredibly they’re doing individually in Leap Day (Gun) and Breakup Service (Off) respectively

Idk exactly what happened
When after finishing the first couple of episodes I actually liked the pacing and story at that point; the characters didn’t feel forced, the story felt like it was leading somewhere but by the 7th episode what the hell happened? San Min recovers from the operation and has no recollection of anything or anyone but as Dinneaw and the others are helping him slowly start to remember in the settings that he would the most comfortable and recognizable in… his so called “best friend” Hanna calls his birth mother and she literally kidnaps him (I did enjoy the part where Mama Orn slapped the s*** out of her tho) and we’re seen as she’s taking him away that he’s progressively getting his memories of Dinneaw back.Episode 8 killed me and not in a good way it was ridden with horny cringe and as well completely unbelievable horny cringe at that two while we’re also seeing full glimpses at San Ming’s abusive childhood; Something so heavy being countered/follow up with scenes being too unseriously crazy horny just felt too ridiculous and out of place. A bright point was Pony finally going against Saiman and him getting his just desserts however, I can’t forgive that we went from San Ming tricking his birth mom to poison his stepdad, to what should have been an romantic heartfelt reunion between the main leads but only last the total runtime of five mins before the credits like what?
In all I would suggest this series for a first time watch but as for a rewatch I wouldn’t say so as not only for the weird awkward episodes that take place after the midpoint but also the sheer of length of each episode being nearly 45 mins while finale episode being 53 mins. It’s a fun story when it wanted to be but other scenes/parts weren’t really that needed or necessary IMO

Beautiful simply stunning
Blueming is an example of a fairly good quality KBL that checks off a list of good characteristics I like to see in romantic dramas/slice of life stuff. Yes it’s short in episode time but I don’t think that impedes if anything this shows story developed very well within that time space even to the credit of other BL’s with long episode length and duration1. Beautiful Cinematic shots
2. Good realistic conflict(s)
3. Developed the varied relationships well
4. Allowed for the characters to express they’re long term feelings and experiences in a matter of different ways that fit each characters personalities well
Really only a couple of things that irked me a bit
1. The two apologies (the imagery and the real life one) could’ve had better timing and clarity between the two as it got a bit unclear as we never got really any indication that the first one was just a dream
2. The main leads chemistry at times were fine but still sorta low when it worked it worked but I didn’t really feel like there were intense sparks between them

Such a cute show
I appreciate that this show shares the same universe with You are mine and both couples are so adorable the only things that can dry e me a bit crazy are1. The lack of communication (until the special episode)
2. The OST goes so hard but it’s only one of maybe two songs ? that play throughout the series
3. I wish I there were more side couples (between both shows) developed apart from the ML’s like we could’ve in this had A’Ren and LiLi become a couple by the end (it was heavily hinted tho)
All in all pretty cute could’ve benefited from either have shorter amount of episodes (6-8) or the episodes could’ve been slightly longer in duration without so many flashbacks from prior moments we just saw less than an episode or two ago

Like why all the low ratings? This is seriously adorable
Yamato and Kakeru’s relationship is so adorable not to mention that both are seriously cute (Kentaro’s eyes are stunning) The story progresses really well I mean I could’ve done without the NC scene but it did set up a good obstacle for Yamato to learn to deal with without hurting the one he loves the most.I think all the characters and the actors did they’re rolls really well although I would’ve loved to see some of side pairings or if there were ones to be slightly more obvious (eg Hosaka x guy who he is always with or even Hosaka x Mikoto)
In all beautiful series just wished it was longer that the standard eight episodes maybe even a second season (but by most BL series sis rare happens but is still a rare occurrence)

This is a master piece of a series (not counting the ending)
I had taken bit of a break from this series until as of yesterday when I finally finished the finale episode and I have to say bravo for the most part; This is not your typical BL series as it has such a more coming of age story spliced with such a slow burn romance that I have admit sometimes was a lil too slow to really break through but still had so much charm and that actors did a phenomenal jobThings I liked
1. The way that Shen Wang’s and Jiang Tian’s relationship progresses from complete strangers in the same class to accepting each other as family/brothers, to being each others home they can rely on. Shen Wang shows Jiang Tian that he can open up to others more and be vulnerable while Jiang Tian shows Shen Wang that he can be strong and confide within him
2. Generally the side characters are so well touched on I love they’re friend group so much
3. The cinematography is amazing and very scenic giving the impression of what a high pressure environment is like and how the students seeming can decompress for a bit before returning to what feels like academic hell
4. The acting is suburb and the appearances chosen for the portrayal of each actor is amazing
Things that could use some improvement
1. That ending ain’t it I mean it felt so set up for a second season where we don’t even have an definitive confirmation that there’s gonna be a second season (on top of that it’s rare for any BL series to get a second season) the final episodes buildup also felt odd I understand that Jiang Tian might’ve felt upset/betrayed that Shen Wang purposely screwed up on the mock exam so his anger/disappointment is warranted however, to make a scene outta a punching a wall in the school when he’s just moving to the class upstairs (also they share the same dorm room and bed a lot of the time) just seems so melodramatic and over exaggerated.
2. The teacher side couple I get they’re supposed to be sorta a parallel to the main leads but the whole thing of one of them thinking that the other has a thing for the Jenny but really likes him instead feels contrived and the whole kidnapping scene felt unnecessary. Also we got some of they’re background story but not enough to really set them up as a side parallel to the main couples booming relationship
3. Episode 11 features a scene where we should’ve had some proximation for why Jiang Tian is initially so closed off also for why he has psychical burn marks/scars on that side of his body; I haven’t read the original book but apparently in the book this is the scene that is responsible for part of Jiang Tian’s closed off behavior which stems from him becoming homophobic. The show never actually depicts any behavior of homophobia on Tian’s part nor outwardly examines it so how we’re we initially supposed to interpret it as that?
4. While the OST slaps so hard the quality and levels of the music is so over the place; the background music either spans on for far too long or far too loud that sometimes the dialogue becomes almost muffled (which seems to be a trend in Taiwanese BL’s from what I seen)
Overall an amazing series so far but we definitely need another season to tie up all the loose ends and expand on the characters feelings and backstories more that the current open ended conclusion of the first season gives us

Cute story felt really condensed tightly
I like the character types introduced in the series and I think Yul and Chen complement each other very well; however, this seemed more like a one sided bromance rather than a true BL romantic connection. Yul didn’t really seem that interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with Chen until the final moments still though there really wasn't any believable romantic feels between the main two at all.I don’t know what countryside living is truly like in South Korea but, this setting seemed to be more of an idealized version than a more accurate representation. The age gap aspect wasn’t really a thing regarded here for really wasn’t that impactful as it’s only an age difference of seven years and the acting was great at times especially for Chen’s actor (his first major role)
Rewatch value? Yea it’s only eight episodes not long at all and I think it hammers out the smaller conflicts seen quite well. Still don’t understand why it’s called Love Tractor though considering the tractor only shows up like three times and really isn’t prevalent outside of those appearances

Sorta clear story but it was just very confusing and unhinged
Identical twins Sprite and Zee (played by the same actor) (although for the times they’re were shown as younger, they got an identical pair of twins ir to play them for flashbacks) Zee initially lives with they’re over dominating mother who is shown only care about him when it comes down to only volleyball and her relationship with the volleyball coach; she’s shown not to give a crap about her other son unless it has something to do with his brother. Sprite lives with dad in the beginning and while not as over zealous as the mom, he still has a close relationship to Sprite’s Jujitsu practices and the coach himself. So when two jealous guys on Sprite’s team hire someone to beat him up outside a restaurant one night… the guy mistakes Zee for his brother and he gets assaulted so bad he ends up in the hospital for months; at this point Sprite takes on being Zee until he recovers but as well must maintain his jiu-jitsu practice as well.
Biggest problems- at some point during the midway of the series at least for a couple of episodes it’s really hard to tell which twin is which unless you pay really close attention to they’re personalities (but there’s a part where Sprite says to First not to worry about it and that just caused more confusion)
Zee is just unlikable his personality is hot garbage and he’s a jerk to everyone including his own brother not even thanking him just chastising everyone around him except for his long time love interest Salmon who is also coincidentally the volleyball teams manager. He deserves complete unhappiness for just being arrogant and malicious to all especially knowing the relationship that developed between First and his brother but basically cause heartache and pain for First and derails Sprite’s chances with him
Sprite- very relatable is chill to some extent doesn’t go around and effs up peoples brains and generally cares about everyone on both his teams and especially his genuine feelings for First
The fact that Zee gets his girl in the end and makes it the national team while Sprite still has to try to win First’s heart back is just so one sided and unfair to Sprite and not forgetting that family dinner scene where all four are together but the mom just seems too comfy now despite her earlier behavior and general neglect of one of her two sons?
Long ass story good parts mostly were Sprites reactions and relationships, Sam and Tan were so cute together, I did not care for the fangirl subplot especially at the end when Nakhom’s so call friends just admitted that the only reason they hung out with her is cause of her brother and that she’s rich god the stupid pettiness was disgusting I generally felt for her.
A good first watch? Yea but as a rewatch the value is set low maybe if you fast forwarded through a non critical parts then yea I guess

Felt too short for the story to really develop
This plot of being in love with an teacher is sorta tired but the interesting thing thrown in there was the bet that Doha and Wyuheoon made, until it wasn’t mostly because I felt that Doha wasn’t really doing enough or acting genuine enough to get Wyuheoon to authentically fall in love with him over Mr Min. When Doha broke up with him that was the turning point that Wyuheoon needed but it being followed up with Doha studying abroad and wouldn’t be back for a number of years felt unbalanced and he only returns after a time skip; your telling me these characters never thought about dating or seeing anybody else in that span of time? Then it jumps to them becoming a couple again but the biggest breaking points for me was neither of them getting the closure they needed cause they both decided not to attend Mr Min’s wedding and also that by the end they’re together in an LDR where they say they’ll visit each other occasionally but also say that they’ll see each other once a year is the only guaranteed. How would a realistic relationship last that way?!In all a cute story but could’ve been paced better to where the time skip would’ve meant more and didn’t feel just last min

It’s not a bad plot for a story but the ML’s are….
I’m struggling to get through episode eight of this series mostly cause I just don’t wanna drop a series I’m more than half way through but, the two ML’s I do not feel any authentic chemistry between them. It’s far from the actors fault no I real feel all them give great portrayals of each character, it’s just….1. What is supposed to actually be the main reason/motivation behind Neua’s attraction to Toh? Toh’s character is not endearing in anyway it’s really just cringey and embarrassing behavior with actions that seem more juvenile and completely unhinged obsession. Neua’s character also lacks any real charisma or depth beyond “he’s the hottest guy on campus” motif; it’s also weird that for college age d students who’d I think would be anywhere from 18-21 would act more like they’re 12/13 year olds and it’s just not cute.
2. I prefer Jao’s and Sky’s relationship theirs seems more genuine and real, granted I wish that Jao would stop being so stubborn and let himself open up more to Sky within a faster pace. As for the side characters (when they’re not centered around Toh or Neua) they’re generally amazing very lil to no problems with them.
Overall I wouldn’t say that I would rewatch this series it’s story and plot could’ve been much more if the writing and character direction didn’t suffer from cringey actions and awkward behavior that was supposed to come off as endearing but just felt creepy

Meh Tier very middle of the road
What’s up with Taiwanese BL’s lately? Last year and prior majority were so good from Be in the house I do (2021) to See Your Love (2024) but Exclusive Love isn’t really good at all safe for the acting but I have to say that I preferred Parker Mao’s character in Your Mine (2023) to Tang Duzhi who is basically just so stoic and robotic without hardly any genuine emotional evolution throughout the series. Also the script, writing, and general pacing feel so so so slow without any real proper slow burn romances at all; and not to mention they packed everything into that final episode and I mean everything but the kitchen sink from NC scenes, both couples getting married, a time skip of 3 years with the previous funeral scene meant to finish up the brothers story but it really didn’t do that. All pretty meh as I said before great acting but Parker’s character in Your Mine and by extension VIP Only felt more realistic to me as well more of a genuine chemistry with the other lead in that series to this oneWas this review helpful to you?

Came for Boom but this story is kinda garbage
*First of all could someone please give a better translation/subtitles for this series? plz cause the subs that are on IQIYI don’t make any sense and are so disjointed that unless you natively speak Thai it’s not gonna make any sensible logic to you1. The best part of this series is that they gave Boom a ml role omg yes this man is literal perfection in acting especially his facial expressions not to mention looks (I don’t want to see him with anyone else though currently besides Smart that is)
2. The story structure and writing are so off that it’s not even bad funny it’s just bad like jump cuts, non disclosed settings, over exaggerated emotions, overuse of the cry on command technique for almost every major character involved that it just becomes to forced and too fake
3. I like Marc don’t get me wrong but a lot of the roles that he’s type-casted into are all the same static yet somewhat annoyingly side characters that inhibited his acting skills
4. The chief and his sister were horrible villains let’s be real here they went to extremes to not even cover up what they were doing cause it was more or less known by everyone else what they’re actions comprised off and it felt so superficial. Nok was genuinely insane like dangerously insane and I’m glad that he was presumed to be killed off earlier then the final episode
5. Finally what the freaking heck was that finale episode? Lue (Din) shoots the chief to save his sister and the rest of his family after years of being harassed and tortured by this fool and Ken finally realizing that Lue is Din (took forever) the sister AE is taken to prison, her brother the chief is dead, all well that ends well right? Nope cause Lue/Din is now on the run wanted for murder?! that wasn’t murder it was a rescue mission/self defense how can it be called murder?!! smh and Ken and Lue don’t even get to meet or be seen together in the end?! also no I don’t count the whole Sai saying she’s getting married on July 7th as a code for Ken to meet Lue/Din that’s just lazy repetitive writing.
TLD- This story had great potential but early on the script and the writing just faltered way too quickly and the actors were told to make up for those things with over the top emotional scenes where they weren’t needed and just were too cringey. Bonus* I hated DeeDee’s character so much he was so not needed

Beautiful Amazing Show
See your Love is amazing I found its portrayal of individuals with a disability/impairment beautiful done to craft a story about individuals who don’t let they’re flaws impede they’re life’s rather they recognize and deal with the hardships that they have to face ever second of everyday and then finding someone who deeply connects with them and loves them so much omg my heart clenched with Zi Xiang and Shao Peng’s story; so playful, so emotionally passionate. Then we have Feng Jie and Xin Jia playing cat and mouse with each other and then turning it into Big dog and husky puppy omg I was strapped in; then we have Shu He and Yu Nong who I admit did not care for when they were onboard with trying to break Shao Peng and Zi Xiang up so they could have them for themselves respectfully; however I did enjoy when Shu He finally realized that she does love Sho Peng but there could never be any in love between them like him and Zi Xiang and I loved that she helped bring Yu Nong to that conclusion as well (also that she shouldn’t marry someone just to secure her family’s fortune but for love itself) frankly those two should’ve just gotten together and then we’d have a fully functional GL couple to add to this story. In all 10/10 Beautifully well done, the actors were amazing, the BTS showed a lot of love and dedication to the project. I wish we could get a season 2 but that’s rare for any BL series especially Taiwanese ones 10 stars all the way
