For a while I thought Heo In Gang would be firm on his stance with her when she visited his grandma. Just a theory: maybe he let's her think for a while that he's into her, only to see what she wants? I'm still not sure about his thoughts and feelings even after the date. Something feels off.

My guess is she can't experience real and genuine happiness after all that trauma. She had to use fake emotions and maybe thats all she knows (at least for now). That might be what gives her "happiness". The only one on her side since she was a child was Jun Seo, and even then she started to use him, because she knew she could.
