I watched this yesterday, and immediately watched it again. I’m happy to see someone else who had trouble finding the words to express the mood, or the feelings. I was riveted and captivated immediately. it’s the next day and I can’t get this movie out of my head.
The production was excellent and the dancing was everything I could have hoped for. The music held two positions. One was how perfect it was for the dance scenes, but also there were multiple places where lyrics contributed to the mood of the moment, which added another layer.
I’ve seen some reviews that didn’t appreciate the pace of the movie and I can’t agree with that. At no time was I bored, and I thought the romance was well executed and kept me wanting more but therefore appreciating every moment I did get. I spent an hour after this finished trying to find something like it with no success. I sincerely hope they make a second movie.
