It was supposed to have a romance in it. It was advertised as a spy movie with a gay relationship ..
“ Shine” is a sequel not a spin off .

It was supposed to have a romance as it was promoted as movie with a gay love story.. I don’t know what happened but at least they are giving us “ Shine” a sequel to Man Suang about ChatKhem love story.

Ce n’était pas un viol mais plutôt dub con. Xing Yi a quand donné son consentement. Mais je ne dit pas que le sexe sous l’effet de l’alcool est normal.
Et puis leur amour n’est pas sorti de nul part, Xing Yi avait déjà des sentiments pour Yong Jie mais il n’a jamais eu l’intention d’aller loin avec lui à cause de beaucoup de choses comme la différence d’âge, le fait que leur parents respectifs sont mariés et Yong Jie a grandi avec lui, le fait qu’il n’était pas sûre si Yong Jie était vraiment amoureux de lui ou c’était juste de l’admiration et de l’affection parce qu’il a à été très gentil avec lui depuis qu’il était petit.
J’ai l’impression que pas mal de vous ( ceux qui ont détesté ce couple) vous n’avez pas trop compris leur histoire.
Regarde HIStory 5 tu vas voir comment leur relation est devenue saine, Yong Jie qui a beaucoup changé et comment ils ont fait face au difficultés et sont très très heureux ensemble. Ils se sont même fiancéw et la scène de la démande en marriage était très belle et très touchante que Micheal ( Xing Si) a pleuré pour de vrai. Ce n’était pas vraiment dans le script.
Faut dire que ses acteurs sont vraiment très professionnels et se sont vraiment immergés dans leur personnages . Même Ansen ( Teng Teng) a pleuré pour de vrai dans la scène où Charles (Li Cheng) a chanté la chanson qu’il a écrit pour lui. Il était très touché, il n’a pas arrêté de pleurer même après avoir fini de filmer.
Y’a pas mal de scènes où ils ont improvisé sans se rendre compte parce qu’ils étaient à fond dans leur personnages.

I know it was toxic in the beginning and Yong Jie was a weirdo with some mental issue but he got better in the end thanks to Xing Yi. Same for Xing Yi, he’s a free man and happy more than ever thanks to Yong Jie. You can see in HIStory 5 how their relationship is healthy, how Yong Jie has really changed and become a very good and sweet person and how they are very happy together.
Even the father put his son happiness before all else. The scenes with the father after he discovered his son was gay and in relationships with he step brother were so powerful. That should’ve make you more understanding.

You said in another comment you need a lover like Yong Jie but here you’re saying very bad things about him which is you exaggerated and made him look like a psychopath.
I can understand reaction like yours but it’s overreacting!!!
Go watch HIStory 5 and you’ll see that the feelings are romantic and not an obsession.
