The series takes place in the far future. Our civilization as we know it got really advanced but ended when an apocalyptic ice age hit. To keep the human race going a bunch of top scientists created a sort of ark to survive which is whats behind the red door and put all their knowledge into a database to preserve our history. ML's mother is a descendant of those scientists and grew up in the ark but later found out that humans did survive outside and had actually begun civilization again. She ventured out of the ark to help these humans with her advanced knowledge. When the ML was born, his mother put that database of knowlege into him so he can access all that info. When he was reciting poems, they were written by the poets of our people but to the new humans, they never existed because they had no knowlege of their distant past.

But even if they dint show my head hurts thinking about how she dealt with these royal family animals even for whatever time she was alive...

He did a lot for his mother though if not more equal things as with his gf...I have seen many dramas where they completely forget about parents just focus on romance... here it was balanced

I loved Lee hye young in Drama Mother... She absolutely rocked that role... She is so mesmerizing here too

while I dont agree or I dont care about the ratings this early sadly episode 01 was very mediocre.Drinking his own blood, hiding him being drugged and abducted..It was a very forced setup to make a drama out of it.. There is no doubt we will see some incompetent cop action over next two months

why bringing appearance to roles .... It is such idiotic... Just because an actor/actress plays a bad role doesnt mean you can talk about their looks... Also you have to keep your bp in check why try such genres?

I think she excels in certain roles very well while certain roles just nt suitable for her. She impressed me a lot with her role as ruohua in born to run while I think fairy type roles dont suit her
