I also agree. It's like Studio Wabi Sabi has decided that since most of their main character males have gone to GMMTV, they feel obligated to throw the girl group a bone. Sammy is already working with GMMTV. Hopefully, she gets some better roles than always being a clown.

you hit every one of my points. Especially for Sammy. She will forever be my BL girl BF goal. She got sh*t on by Wabi Sabi, and I don't see much going on with her at GMMTV. Also, Cooheart could be more convincing in his crying if there were tears, like in My Only 12%.

My takeaway from ep 3: Sammy still cast as the over exaggerated clown comic relief character by Studio WabiSabi. This might be why she moved to GMMTV, though they also don't tap into her potential. Her singing voice is so beautiful.

They make the pilots to generate interest and get sponsors. Asian series productions are not the same as in the US. They literally have to fundraise and have paid product placement in series in order to produce the show. This is especially true for BL series.

This series is a different plot for each episode and changing up the guest or "supporting" roles. None of this makes sense if there is not a physical and amorous connection between the male leads. Episode one was emotional with the ex abuse and trauma, but episode 2 was kind of boring and only gave a hug, peck on the cheek, and "let's be boyfriends" at the end.

Glad to actually see Ben in the cast list, since he was in the pilot. Ben was in the pilot for Hidden Moon, with Folk, but they didn't actually get cast in the series. It's upsetting because the series is going nowhere due to the bad acting of the ML. It would have been better with Ben and Folk.

This is not Chinese. It's Taiwanese. Taiwan is an independent nation where same sex marriage is legal, and BL Dramas are not censored. China is a communist dictatorship country where homosexuality is criminal and everything is censored by the government. Not too many people pay attention to the details, but China is trying to conquer Taiwan as Chinese territory, which will be terrible for LGBTQ+ people. Hong Kong is another example, and they are losing their sovereignty to China right now.

Just the name made me think this would be cringy as I was getting Dinosaur Love vibes, but I really liked this series! No over the top plot, and, yes another university themed series, but sometimes you just need a slice of life cute series.

Usually, MDL will put cancelled next to the title if a series is confirmed to be cancelled. I am curious how they made a 17 minute trailer with an OST song for a series that will be cancelled.

Gotta praise GMMTV for giving us a little slice of BL, even if it is a tragedy. Most people don't see The Warp Effect as an LGBTQ+ series, but there's a BL couple, a GL couple, and a transgender character. ForceBook did a good job portraying their characters, and with the beautiful choreography. TayNew are amazing actors whether BL or not. They are two of my favorite actors, right up there with Jan. This cast is just right. The guest stars on these episodes are also great! I wish Perth got more of a role in the chef episode, though. I just hope the rest of the series isn't Home as a ghost. I absolutely guessed what was going to happen when he took the car by himself.

I am going to say that Tattoo needs another whooping! He's like a cat that is on his 8th life. Enough already with his stupidity.
