I really wanted retribution or a serious consequence for the Chairman, the secretary, and the school employee that kept telling him to turn a blind eye.

And not even a satisfying ending. I liked it, but it left me drained.

I seriously wanted a dreadful consequence for the girl that stole the sheet music. I know it was central to the plot, but after she did it and was being driven away, I hoped for something to happen to teach her a lesson. She just got away with it.

I didn’t look at it that way, but can see that there had to be a villain and an innocent. I looked at it as two lost souls that had different traumatic childhoods. They actually weren’t that different. The point that got me was when Pi-O confirmed that he had nothing to do with the kidnapping plot, but told Jeongyo that though he didn’t do it, he felt responsible because he had thought about doing it. Their hate was misdirected by the words and actions of the adults around them. It was the teachers who made them compete, the evil parents they had, the grandfather who resented his grandson enough to put Jeongyo above him, and the stifling environment of competition music. It could have gone one of two ways: they would have grown close and inseparable because of their misery, or they would have given in to the seeds of hate and jealousy the adults sowed. Unfortunately, it was the latter. They both had to hit rock bottom to realize that they were better as friends.

They both had horrible traumatic childhoods, just in different ways. They both clung to evil, abusive parents right up til the end. I also would nit have covered for my mother, but their mindset and culture are different from mine.

I was really frustrated in the last two episodes, too. Initially I was screaming at Pi-O to just tell the truth. Then I thought about it again snd realized that Jeongyo likely wouldn’t have believed him anyways without the evidence that was presented by the private investigator. Remember, when Jeongyo saw him with the money, he thought it was to pay the criminals to finish the job. It had to play out that way. Also, Pi-O spent his whole life feeling like a loser, even to his mom. He threw himself under the bus because he completely lost his sense of self-worth.

The MLs are codependent friends with no romance. There is slight romance between ML Pi-O and FL Jae In. It’s got a fantastic plot and I found no dull episodes.

Not really between the two male leads. The tags say bromance, but it isn’t. It’s a very codependent friendship with moments of hatred between the two male leads. The romance, though very superficial and more of friendship is between Pi-O and the female lead Jae In. It is definitely worth the watch. Every episode is emotionally charged.

Interesting theory on the ending! I do hope there are a couple of happy endings. My point was that you can’t kill a Nour, but they keep acting like a regular arrest is possible and James did make the plan in Ep 9 in the squad room (while throwing Ken under the bus) as if the were just investigating and arresting a regular human criminal.

I really enjoyed this up until Ep 9. Now I’m not sure if I should drop it due to repetitive stupidity on the part of James. He seriously acts like all the suspects can be arrested or killed and rushes into danger or puts his subordinates in danger. We know that he knows you can’t kill a Nour, so “arresting” one would be futile. This is really bad writing at this point.

Pues, yo presiento que va a curar a su querido hermano/novio. En los próximos capítulos, pienso que He Yoa va a tratar de usar a Lin Zai para curar a Sheng Chan Huang. Sabemos ya que He Yoa, Lin Zai, y A Lei tienen inmunidad y va a tener algo que ver con el final. Es solo mi adivinanza.

True, though I predicted from the moment they got into A Lei’s car that their feelings were romantic and not brotherly rivalry. Their storyline needed to start sooner and burn a little slower.

Exactly! The never ending arrows and A Lei’s alway perfectly styled hair after mortal combat with zombies. I’m still eating it up!

This is really good. It has everything…action, adventure, zombie apocalypse, and romance. I only wonder where they get their endless supply of arrows?

I tried to wait and binge too, but it is too good.
