They are actors. It's an industry. Ships are created by the production companies and delulu fans. They don't have to be anything more than co-workers. Chemistry is part of the gig. James is absolutely beautiful to look at, but, again, it's about acting. That's their job.

Thailand just passed same-sex marriage rights. They also produce the most BL dramas in Asia. I think their tolerance is better than a lot of countries.

I investigated Catholic schools in Thailand, especially Lasallian Schools. Only 5% of the student body at La Salle are Catholic. I think it has more to do with the discipline and academic rigor than religion. There are 13 Catholic colleges in Thailand. Several BL actors have gone to an Assumption College, or St. Gabriel's.

If someone is really that reserved or shy, they would not have signed up. I feel like Shun is putting on a good act and it's working because he's getting a lot of attention in social media.

They film everything and then edit it down to the best parts. I think there is some direction or input from the producers/directors.

I am actually enjoying it, but it seems some of the actions are copying The Sign. The voice calling Lin to go in the water, and the creature that is Sun under the water are too much like The Sign.

It's actually his style in real life, though! He exudes sexiness in his music videos too. It is adapted from a novel, which also might be the way the character is written. Some gay men are effeminate. Not all, of course, but some are.

I absolutely agree that they needed to have more closure with Phum and his dad. I expected something like. "we sent you away to protect you from....", but we got nothing.

I agree. This show was cute and okay to pass the time, but very typical GMMTV. Phuwin looked like kissing was painful and he pursed his lips. My biggest complaint is the three odd men out. Yes, it makes for a more robust friend group, but there was no character or relationship development for Pepper, Tee, and JJ. If GMMTV really wanted to throw us a surprise, they could have made them a throuple. I don't know, but it felt just typical to me with the university "let's go to the beach" vibe.

It's because Alan has the Latino EuraAsian vibe. I am EuroLatina (French Canadian and Mexican) and I can see the attraction. Japanese folks are more reserved. They would never come into a situation and hug anyone. This is scandalous. We come into a room and kiss on the cheek in my cultures, but not many Asians do. I love the drama it causes.

Whatever happened with Junseongho really worked. I have actually subscribed to their YouTube channel and they have lasted over a year together. I mostly like their content. I'm a realist, who hopes that any of these couples can put their relationship above "views" and "likes". I do get the sense with this show that there will be one "golden couple".

I am really a fan of reality dating shows and loved His Man 2 (His Man 1 was a learning experience for the producers, I think), and I even liked Boys Like Boys. What I can't deal with in this show, is that it is dubbed on Netflix I can read subtitles all day long, but dubbing English voices is a huge turn off for me.

I am subscribed to Junsheongho's channel and saw His Man 1&2. I am afraid to watch season 3 because I don't know if anyone can live up to season 2. Season 1 was a bust. Is Season 3 really worth watching?

With Becky in it, it deserves to be a BL and a GL!
