Another random episode. How is there a lot happening but nothing happening at the same time? This is one of the only shows where I would have appreciated, at the very least, a time skip/ a montage showing some relationship development. But ngl I love Yai and Mangkorn being all cutesy and I died laughing at the seaweed snack scene. I feel like the seaweed snack can be dubbed the official "get my partner to stop sulking food" lol. But the real question is who won the 10,000 baht??
any k bls similar to this? cuz every bl ive checked rn is low quality, poor script, etc non as good as this one…
Other than the ones mentioned, I enjoyed Cherry Blossoms After Winter and Mr. Heart to a lesser extent. I've heard Light on Me is good too but I haven't seen it yet
I have mixed feelings about this show. On one hand, I appreciate them trying to tackle how ridgid the school system can be and how it can put so much pressure on students. But based on the initial promotion even the poster, this looks like it should have a darker feel to it which was a little disappointing. Moving past that, the plot could have been executed better. I loved the first half of the series but the second half fell flat and felt draggy and rushed at the same time. I did overall enjoy the show, but I also think it could have been better.
This show is so random. I also don't understand Mangkorn at all. Like what motivates him to act the way he does? Also, this is a small issue and but it really bugged me. If Yai wasn't answering, then Mangkorn could have just sent a text saying "Yai, it's Mangkorn. This is my new number. Answer the phone" or he could have left Yai a voicemail saying this. Like how was that not even a thought for a whole week. Anyways, it wasn't a bad episode since I've decided to watch this as a comedy. I actually laughed out loud at several times, like when they were arguing and the rain started. What even 😂
As funny as the bodyguards are, we don't have enough episodes for them to be getting that much screen time. They haven’t even fully developed the relationship between the leads because while them talking by the car after they left the party was cute, it kind of came out of nowhere. Also, based on the preview they're bringing in a rival when the leads don't even have enough scenes together.
I think the comedy tag is missing because I laughed so much at the ridiculousness of what I was watching. I swear the dramatic music only made it funnier. This drama was a mess and had so much wrong with it, but it was actually pretty entertaining and managed to keep me engaged.
I smiled through this entire episode. Cake and Eiw are way too cute! I also enjoyed seeing Cake jealous but I do hope they don't prolong the time till confessions too long.
This episode made me both hate and love Prapai. I think Prapai switching numbers just so he could messge/ call Sky when it was clear that Sky was blocking his number is harassment and pretty creepy, and what made it worse is that we saw the effect it had on Sky (sidebar: Peat did a great job portraying Sky's emotions). Now, onto the things that made me love Prapai. The genuine concern on his face and in his voice after he saw Sky's reaction to his 'love is blind comment'. The change in him from flirty to worried was crystal clear. I also loved that he prioritised taking care of Sky and let him decide what he was comfortable with which I think helped show his sincerity towards Sky
I'm already loving Prapai and Sky. Prapai is so full of himself but then he smiles and I'm like okay you can be full of yourself all you want. But I do hope Sky makes Prapai chase him for quite some time and I'm so excited to see more sides of Prapai in the future as he falls for Sky. I also love Sky and Rain's friendship. Rain definitely desereved that punishment lol
I really enojyed the first episode. It was very intriguing with interesting characters. I liked the world building with some of the rules being laid out for the ghosts and I'm actually really curious about the plot and the stories of all the characters.
But the real question is who won the 10,000 baht??
I love the theme song and music video but I agree it doesn't really fit the vibe of the show so far.
