Okay, so it's a bit of a poor man's ATOTS, but so far so good. It's far better than SIMM, which isn't too difficult,…
Here is my understanding of why his character seems different. I think the break up happened well before SIMM, so I'm assuming that the drinking period Mesa explained was immediately after the break up. So, in SIMM since time has passed he wasn't going out and getting hammered because he was now "over" the break up which even Mesa said he thought Fah was over it. But when he went to his ex gf's wedding, Fah realised that he wasn't really over it, so he got drunk. Now, I think he was drinking more excessively in the beginning of the episode because his feelings of hurt that happened right after the break up resurfaced (because of the wedding).
This was a great first episode. Mesa is already becoming my favourite character lol And to me, the acting and the chemistry between the leads is already better than Star in My Mind.
Very cliché and overly dramatic but pretty entertaining first episode. Idk how else to put this but it kinda feels like a parody of other BL shows which to me isn't necessarily a bad thing. The principal had me cringing and lauguing so much lol. The set up for the couples looks good and I'm excited to see how they progress
I think the only reasons I completed this show were because it was 8 episodes and because I was interested in Sky in Your Heart and wasn't sure how much overlap there would be. Maybe this show just wasn't for me but the characters felt too immature and inconsistent and I didn't connect with the story at all. There were some cute moments but those were often overshadowed by the things that I didn’t really like about the show.
This drama is now one of my favourites. It wasn't always realistic in terms of how quickly some of the cases seemed to be wrapped up, and I wished they'd emphasis the importance of treatment/ therapy, but it touched on some very important aspects and shed light on the struggles that people go through on a daily basis. I went through so many emotions watching this, sadness, rage, irritation, disbelief and happiness to name a few. This drama tugged at my heart strings like very few dramas before this could. If you're watching beware of the tags since this drama is on the heavier side and could be triggering. Also, the entire cast, main, suppoting and guests, did an amazing job. I doubt there would be a season 2 but if there ever is, I will definitely watch it.
I think Chay is a fan, and like any fan, he has posters and pictures.A stalker is on another level. He closed the…
I was just answering your question of why Kim did that. Picking the lock is an invasion of privacy and in rl definitely not okay, but in the context of the story I think it's acceptable because to Kim, Porsche and by extent Chay are suspicious people that need to be investigated. And even though the circumstances of Kim and Chay are based on manipulation, I still think their interactions are cute mostly because of how Chay lights up around Kim.

From previous episodes we know that Kim approached Chay to find out more about Porsche. So when Chay locked the door, Kim was suspicious and thought that Chay was hiding something and maybe it could be related to why Porsche was hired as a bodyguard without any rigorous screening.
You don't see Lyn, you see Mix, even though he's in his sister's body aside from a few moments. Also, Korn knows…
In reality but in the drama interactions and intimate moments are still shown as Win and Korn. The point they're making is that it doesn't matter what Win looks like Korn loves/ has always loved Win for who he is as a person.
This episode cleared up some things which I appreciated, but I still want to know why and how Nuea came to be doing Kluen's assignments and why Kluen never asked him about. I also think Nuea should have rejected Papang in private. I would have been mortified to be rejected in front of other people even if they're my friends. Kluen confessing all the time was cute but felt out of character. Overall, pretty cute episode.
What annoys me is the hyper attention to every little interaction the boys have, it's obviously affecting them…
I agree with everything you said. This is the part of the BL industry which has always disappointed me. Fans really should realise how critiquing every little interaction between the actors can negatively affect the actors. I do hope that Ohm and Nanon will be okay but I don't think they owe fans an explanation. Ohm apologied and I think that's enough. I'll continue to support Ohm and Nanon who have brought me joy through their works.
Plus, the commenter is indirectly implying in the earlier part that CP got many bad reviews and comments (and…
I don't think that characters have to be pure and flawless to be accepted by fans. Maybe it might seem that way on MDL but in the wider community and on other platforms KP gets a lot of love. Besides no one show can satisfy everyone. There will always be people who hate and people who love the same show.
Someone mentioned this earlier but I just want to add to it. I think that straight romances in general have such a huge variety of healthy and fluffy relationships as well as really messy and unhealthy relationships whereas I think gay romances in general tend to lean more towards unhealthy and heartbreaking relationships (even though I think this might be slowly changing now), so seeing a happy, healthy gay couple with very few of the typical tropes that often pop up in BLs might have been a nice change for people and could be why people are drawn to and enjoy Bad Buddy so much

One of the main reasons I love Bad Buddy is because I think it depicts a pure and healthy relationship, but that doesn't stop my enjoyment of other shows like Kinnporsche. I've always felt that Bad Buddy and Kinnporsche should not be compared because to me the only thing they have in common is that they are both BLs since they're set in very different worlds. Applying the same judgement to both of them makes no sense to me. I think Bad Buddy and Kinnporsche have had/ are having a big impact in the BL world but in different ways.
Aw sucks that Bad Buddy disappointed you but it's about preference and if you didn't enjoy it, that's okay. High expectations have ruined some shows for me too so that's understandable. Things often come across harsher in writing so don't worry about it ):)
i just rewatched it today and i miss them even more now.you know sometimes you just wanna remove your memory of…
Of the BLs I've watched recently I would recommend Cherry Magic (Japan. Completed. Light and cute), Mr. Unlucky (Japan. Airing. Super adorable and funny) and Kinnporsche (Thailand. Airing. Really interesting story and great production quality. Only recommend if you're over 18)

Sure it might be a theme for EarthMix BLs to involve girls, I'm not disputing that, but in this case, the body switch is part of the story for a reason. I think the body switch is used in the plot because Win (in his original boy body) would not have gone with Korn since he was angry with him. However, since Win is in a girl's body and there is some tradition against females interacting directly with monks, a man (looking like a man aka Korn) needed to accompany Win in a female's body. Also, Lin's body is specifically portrayed as weak, so the series implies that Win in the female's body would need help actually getting to the places. Win in the female body is more dependent on Korn whereas if he was in his original boy body he would have been more independent, wouldn't have needed help and would not have been forced to accept Korn's help . So the body switch is used as a way to get Win and Korn to spend time together. For the above reasons and the fact that Win's original boy body is often portrayed in interactions with Korn, and that Korn knows it is Win (he never once refers to Win as Lin), in my opinion, I wouldn't say that this series is straightwashing
I don't usually like dramas with misunderstandings but I have to say that the misunderstandings were handled well in this series. This show was a lot of fun and I loved the strong friendships between the main leads and their friends. Aoki's reactions were too cute and I liked watching Ida trying to figure out his feelings. Overall, I did enjoy it and it was better than I expected.
