Yeah, whoever did the wardrobe should be retired. They show Anin, who is royalty, wearing clothes that look like…
Well to be fair, until recently I still had some of my mom's and grandma's clothes, so off the rack is possible.

I think Kuea is getting the blame because he was the one who cheated on his fiance. Technically, from the outsiders…
I can understand your point of view.

Well true, let's be glad Savitri did, because the alternative was hard to bare for everyone who actually cared.

Were they custom made?

Well, the thing is Alisa was in a way added to the situation, so her actions come into question more in the show. In the show, I am angry at Alisa for her nonchalant, uncaring attitude towards the whole AninPin situation. It was as if she cared very little for the way her daughter was being ripped apart by what was happening with Pin and Kueakiat's wedding. For someone who claimed to love their daughter very much, I don't see how she could be so uncaring about how Pin getting married to someone else was affecting her own daughter and her niece, whom she supposedly loved so much that she thought of Pin as a 'daughter'.

When it comes to Princess Patt, like has been stated previous, she is a very complex character. I don't like that she tried to force Pin to marry Kueakiat, but Princess Patt was doing what she thought was best for Pin in her convoluted way of thinking, because of many factors. True, she is sapphic, but she is in many ways a self-loathing sapphic. She's also a sapphic who never got to pursue a relationship with the one she loved, because Princess Im died. Also, Patt is Pin in that she grew up in a cage much like Pin. The difference being that her "Anin" wasn't able to fight for her and bolster her, allowing her to grow and finally leave the cage like Anin did for Pin. In many ways, Princess Patt is still in that cage, left with the sadness of losing Im, not having anyone to support her like Prik, Pia and Anin supports Pin, and Patt was left with all this confusing and conflicting feelings about being in love with another woman in a world that's telling her that it's wrong, and that she should just marry a man and make a family because "that's what women are truly only good for in the end" with no real support to help her sort it out.

Well, the thing is those clothes are appropriate for the period of the series, which is set in the late 40s/early 50s. When I was a little kid growing up in the 70s, I saw pics of my mom and grandma wearing clothes with similar prints, patterns and styles. It was very common back then.

I think Padmika is the most complex character in this series, she is sapphic/lesbian herself but clearly has some…
I 100% agree with everything you just said. I've seen situations like Pattamika play out in real life. It's unfortunate, but it happens more than people realize.

Not sure why they didn't just stick to the novel when it comes to Anil and marriage. She wasn't being forced or…
I can relate about Kueakiat. I feel Anin wants to make him go missing, but it would cause problems for her and Pin. He is a smiley snake that needs his head chopped off. I love the actor portraying him though. He is very believable as a smiley guy who can't take no for an answer.

Title The Loyal Pin Spoiler
The show is set in 1952 so of course marriage pressure is there for both Anin and Pin. I fear that Princess Patt…
I think Pattamika doesn't want Pin to end up alone like she is. There's a reason why Princess Patt wears a ring on her right finger. Her lover (female), who was a Princess died from illness. Pattamika wants Pin to have the stability and emotional security she doesn't have, but I honestly think Princess Patt should stop trying to decide Pin's life for her. I know she loves Pin, but she's going about it all the wrong way. Also, the Princess is choosing THE WRONG person to pear Pin with, because Kueakiat is a waste of space and honestly I wouldn't be upset if Anin causes him to go missing one day after he serves his purpose.

This show is top-notch, well-paced, and follows the same lines as the novels expertly and I'm happy about that. All the acting is top-tier and this show, so far, has the best OST in GL series to date. I can't wait to watch the rest of the series. Those who are watching are in for a ride.
