Huwei's reaction when Ryuki came in was priceless. I had the feeling that there was something between the two…
No shade to Bomi, but to me this feels less about his actual feelings for Huwei and more about protecting his pride. Which, honestly, isn’t unusual in Japanese culture at all.
Also: when Ryuki asked if anyone liked someone or was in love, Huwei immediately said yes - but later he was pretty lukewarm when it came to Bomi. That contrast makes it feel less like genuine feelings for Bomi, and more like unresolved feelings for Ryuki and not wanting to give him the upper hand. As in, not wanting Ryuki to walk away knowing his sort-of ex still hadn’t found anyone. Less romance, more subtle power game. tbh, not cute.
Unpopular opinion: We all know by now that we are getting HuweiBomi (trailer etc.), but HuweiRyuki would be a much better fit. Ryuki is legit cute, I'm sorry for whatever asshole he has to get over atm. Wishing him a better taste in men in the future cuz Huwei's enough of a badboy. No need for more drama.
Babes, i don't know if i'm reading it wrong because nobody else seems to think so but William feels like such…
Guys, quick reality check - this is a JAPANESE show. Dating norms over there are just built different. Try dating in Japan and good luck lol💀
For a lot of men there - straight, gay, bi, pan, you name it - having sex outside of a relationship that isn't connected to feelings (and especially paying for sex) isn’t automatically clocked as cheating. It’s seen as transactional, not emotional. And yeah, plenty of women are aware of it and don’t necessarily treat it like a relationship-ending offense. It’s compartmentalized. Feelings live in one box, sex can live in another.
That doesn’t mean everyone agrees or that it’s “right,” but it is cultural. Japan has a very different way of separating emotional intimacy from physical release, whether people outside like it or not. So judging it through a Western dating lens is kind of missing the point.
Dunks character is supposed to be like that though aloof, stiff, emotionally detached, not expressive its how its…
Great. Hope he gets the character development he deserves. If not then...let's talk then 😏 As for now...idk, just not buying Dunk's acting. And usually I am all for the aloof & emotionally detached characters, and Style was by far my fave character in THK, so perhaps that's telling...
I get what you mean. I loved their acting as FadelStyle right from the start but until now (ep 2) I didn't get…
2D-like is a very good way to describe the current Kamin. But yeah, seems like everybody is saying it's just a passing phase, and that's how he's supposed to be according to the book, so let's see if it gets better with time...
Listen....JoongDunk ate in The Heart Killers. In Dare You to Death though…so far not landing. Dunk’s stiff af, makes it hard to watch. Hope it gets better soon.
Bakyeon is such a massive red flag! From the moment hyunji came he became super freaking weird. I gave him the…
It didn’t come off like he was bitching about her. Almost everyone talks about their relationships with their friends, that’s literally how people process stuff. And honestly, if anyone did vent about her, she kinda earned it.
I actually get BH. Sometimes you’ve got an ex who’s still hanging on, and you’re trying to let them down without wrecking them. You respect the past, you have good memories, you used to have real feelings for them, but you’ve moved or are moving on. Maybe there’s someone new you’re into, maybe you’re already with them - and now you’re stuck balancing being kind to your ex while being loyal to the person you actually want. It’s not shady. It’s just one of those messy real-life situations where you’re trying to do right by everyone and it still looks complicated from the outside. I wouldn't judge him so harshly.
And - for a Korean - he looks genuinely interested in YY.
I laughed so hard while watching this (ok- fast forwarding through it). Somebody is clearly obsessed with blindfolds 💀 The NC scenes are a joke. The whole thing is a so disjointed and bad it's hard to describe.
Repeat...why don't you like him? His character seems sensitive, artistic and intelligent. His friend said he's…
I’m not saying Jira is morally bad or a terrible person. I just personally don’t vibe with him. It’s more about who we are as people and the types of personalities we naturally mesh with.
Jira might not actually be weak internally, I get that - but the way he presents himself gives off that heavy “my life is awful” victim energy, and that’s a type I don’t connect with in real life either. I naturally gravitate toward people with a “make it work” mentality - the lemonade-from-lemons crowd. The "never give up" attitude. People who come off hopeless and stuck tend to trigger my internal eyeroll, so Jira just isn’t my cup of tea right now. But that's just my personal opinion, and I'm betting yours is different.
Also, he's given opportunities. I guess he has the luxury to say "I don't work with AI" or "lend me 150k baht" That's a pretty penny too. So literally he's screwed because his own horse is too high lol
That said, we’re still early in the story. Who knows who Jira will be by the end. And honestly, if Gun’s performance is strong enough to make me react this much to the character, he’s doing something right.
Yikes. I spent exactly 8 minutes fast forwarding through the last 4 episodes and I still understood everything that happened. And to top it off, the MC has no personality.

I mean AuOngsa had so much potential and it all flopped.
That ending was the most random mess I’ve seen in a minute.
