I don't think they actually said where.

Correction.Idk who needs to hear this, but if a guy says “I don’t know if I like men, I like you,” he’s…
Wow. That’s a very narrow, standardized take on sexuality. People figure themselves out in different ways, at different paces. Assuming everyone experiences it the way you did is… not it.

The reality is: WSW likes girls and is going to fall for a guy. That makes him not straight. Period. If you can develop romantic feelings for someone of the same sex, you’re simply not heterosexual. Sorry to disrupt your fantasy, but that’s not an opinion, it’s science.

And honestly? With all due respect, bit surprised I have to explain that to someone who identifies as LGBTQ+.

It's called guy pride. Can’t let logic get in the way.

I'm confused by this. Is this gay or nah? Hoping it's really gay before I start. Did China flip the ban or something…
Very much gay.

wait, I thought china's censor board doesn't allow gay romance. what's going on?

I respect a guy who knows what he wants and doesn’t bother pretending it’s something deeper.
Of course he’ll fall in love in the end anyway - because that’s how dramas work- but at least we’re not pretending all adult gay men are out there searching for one true love and kissing people out of pure feelings after eight episodes 🤡

WOW what a stellar jump like light years ahead all other Chinese BL dramas I had seen so far. The dialogue (both…
Correction.
Idk who needs to hear this, but if a guy says “I don’t know if I like men, I like you,” he’s NOT straight. Straight men don’t get confused into catching feelings for other men. You can't "turn gay" 💀 What you see is just a dude who's slow to realize he's bi, lol.

Also, to be precise, WSW said “I like you” to get out of a sticky situation - not because he suddenly fell for CC. He barely even noticed CC as a man before ep 5 (and that's if we're being generous).

But I agree this show's straight fire.

Hahahahaha
my bf just asked why i was laughing so hard
I told him: “I just fast-forwarded thru a show so bad it broke through its own shit and looped back to comedy”

Like 🙄
Chain might actually be catching feelings for his rapist.
Sun cheated on Nu, and it was resolved by… getting a fever? 💀
Also, there’s a surprise fiancee. Because of course there is.
Throw in a car crash and amnesia while you’re at it, why not?
It’s like they asked AI to write trauma with no context and then filmed the first draft. Nothing makes sense. Nothing is earned.

Honestly it’s impressive.
It’s not even the fun kind of wrong. It’s like - “do I need to shower after this?” wrong.
Zero stars. Five laughs. Permanent psychological damage. Would recommend if u hate yourself 💀🙃

Did I just watch a full-on rape scene in a 15+ rated series? LMAO

and why does that matter?
Because how is their sexual orientation relevant to discussing the show?

Regardless of whether they are or aren’t part of the LGBTQ+ community, it’s their right to keep their private lives private - and their prerogative if they wanna share 🏳️‍🌈

I wouldn't necessarily call myself a fan of COH, cuz the show sucked bad (except for Boom's acting), but I defo do agree he is a very good actor. Especially within the BL community, his acting skills are top notch.

Boom really showed up with the acting skills. Dude’s got legit chops. I’m not even kidding - back in the day, I fast-forwarded through all of Chains of Heart just to watch his scenes. That’s how good he was. Cuz everything else was a joke🙄 And not the funny kind lol.
I wasn't really betting on Smart at first, but gotta say - he’s actually holding his own next to Boom. Props to him for that.

love that you read a full sentence saying “not on some shipper agenda” and still decided to write a whole paragraph about shipping. impressive focus 🙃
clearly my comment about acting was a secret plot to awaken the delulu army. you cracked the code. congrats 🥇

I agree that it’s polite to check - if you’re from a country with a history of oppressing native people, that’s just basic respect. But how would the Thai even know they need to check? If you didn’t know water could turn solid, most of us wouldn’t think to freeze it, right? Just a little analogy.

I get the educational aspect, but I don’t think expressing disappointment in people who genuinely might not have known any better is the best way to go about it.

I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure you're getting my point. The fact that the term is considered a derogatory word in your language and culture doesn't mean it is the same for other languages and cultures. For their cultural circle they haven't done anything wrong. Chances are, had they used another word (Inuit), hardly anybody in the Thai audience would've understood it, as it's so uncommon over there.

All I'm trying to say is that if you want them to be understanding of your culture, extend the same courtesy towards them. It's a two-way street.
