Yeah, that was def their first rodeo. And in that last NC scene, my man Ryu straight up said he's going wild cuz it's been 3 months and he’s starved lol. Like, tell me that's not a dead giveaway💀
It's basically Ryu admitting they've been hooking up on the regular before. It's all there if you're paying attention. The show's just being subtle, letting us figure it out instead of spelling everything out.

Actually, I'm not sure who & where R-rated this show. Or it that even happened at all😏 Cuz neither Viu nor Gagaoolala rated it that. The only place that I know of that shows 21+ is kisshk....and we all know it's not a legal site💀 Actually, I was looking for official rating a while ago, and couldn't find it. It doesn't really make sense to R-rate a teen show either.

Folks keep bitching about the NC scenes, saying they're not enough. I'd just like to remind you that you're watching a show about 16yos here. If the director had thrown in a full-on 3rd base NC scene, people would've cried foul about sexualizing minors. And yeah, MeenPing aren't underage, but their characters are.

Asian shows play by different rules than American ones. A show about gay teens with explicit NC scenes? That's just asking for trouble & limiting your audience. Not good for publicity nor making money. For context, My Love Mix-Up is about a couple in the same age group. Get it?💀

Let's not go down that dark path. Why can't they do both? Have a career outside of BL shows, while still acting in them. Plenty of other actors do this too.
I think this series is going to slowly gain more popularity, which will only make their ship sail further. 'Not Me' was also hugely underappreciated at first, and now it's the highest-ranking BL show on MDL of all time (or at least it was when I last checked a few months ago). Back when I watched it in 2022, I'm not sure it was even rated 8.0.
As for NC scenes, it's the director who decides if and how they should be acted out. Not actors. And this director isn't known for explicit content.

Honestly haven't been this hooked on a series since that crazy run of good stuff in 2022. But for real, this one's top-tier.

And I get what you're saying, but it's not even about how he dealt with rejection. It's started way before he even had a chance of being rejected. His insecurities really are overflowing. "If you don't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?" right?

Atom seems to me like the type of a dude who would be ok with being with Zen who has feelings for Ryu and not him, as long as he liked Zen. I don't think he would stop himself from banging Zen even if he knew Zen was in love with Ryu, if only Zen gave him a chance to do so. And he would make damn sure Zen never gets together with Ryu. Just a speculation, but that's the vibe he gives off. Sad.

Atom is simply bulldozing his way into Zen's life. There are some people like that, they would force themselves onto others, despite their protests. They just don't care as long as they get where they want to be. And then, there are people like Zen, who are unable to protest loudly enough despite being very uncomfortable. Neways, in this case the only effective way of protesting would be having a full on argument, and Zen is not a very confrontational character (unless it comes to Ryu haha).
Atom's just a selfish dude who has no respect for others.

Same, I can't bring myself to finish watching it. I stopped midway and just skipped around to see what's gonna happen next.

I was cracking up watching RyuZen go at it about who's a perv in that relationship. Zen's all 'You're a perv!' and Ryu's like 'Takes one to know one, buddy.' The writers probably didn't want to get too spicy with the dialogue, but come on, we all know what they're hinting at. These two are basically admitting they've been all over each other, right in front of Atom. He wholly deserved it. Karma's a funny thing, huh?

I'm not so sure about that. I think he did communicate it, and that's why Ryu was asking whether Zen was safe. That's why Zen answered that Atom wasn't a perv, so he wasn't going to jump him. Why else would he bring up him not being a perv? Tbh it's hard to judge cuz (south) east Asian languages are very contextual, and a lot has to be interpreted.

tbh, much as I like Zen I agree he should've spoken up. But, in his defense, the moment when they came out to his grandma & Ryu's mom has clearly shown he feels super shy & awkward talking about his feelings. And he did tell Ryu Atom was staying for the night. So even though he should've spoken up, I'm guessing this is how his character was written out - as somebody who is just shy, but not indecisive nor trying to play the field.
