what work are you referring to? when you say she's become more focused on looking pretty on camera, is it from a specific role/drama or in general?

though I agree, but only with her role as Lin Wanxing in Road to Success. I feel as though her approach of the character has some hesitation, where she understands the character but hesitates to truly put herself in the vulnerable state that Lin Wanxing is in.

The only direction she can go is up and forward. Like any other people, Esther will always thrive to be better. Though, I feel like her performance shouldn't be evaluated on her performance alone. An actor's performance is affected by many factors such as the script, the director, environment of the whole production crew, edits of the drama, etc.

that's thing with productions and scripts. she would be promised one thing before signing with a drama only for the production company to change things up 😕.

The promotions is actually weirder because we see them as Neo and Ai Mi not as their characters. I also remember they filmed another drama before this, it was Fangs of Fortune, she was probably 14-15 yrs old there 😬. They weren't paired together but she was paired with a 21yrs old. Her agency and parents does not protect her enough or is just exploiting her for money 🤷‍♀️.

saw a comment under a post between Ai Mi and Neo how age doesn't matter that people are making a big deal of it. How they are acting and it's there job.....the fact that they don't see the issue is already hinting of why this casting is just a NO.
