i wonder when will GMMTV will create another good bl series again sigh...Like what was the last good one? Bad…
Not me is probably the latest great one but cupid's last wish and even this isn't that bad in comparrison to Enchante (in my opinion of course you have yours and that's fine)
Prakam has Tua/Sanya’s heart ✅ checkTua/Sanya made a deal with his soul reaper ✅ checkDad did the surgery…
With Prakan has Tua's heart (from next weeks preview it looks like he doesn't), and this is just a theory you don't have to agree with this but he has his dads heart.
With this episode 6 (an unpopular opinion I think at least from what I have read here which is fine) I'm still enjoying it However there are faults which we all can see, that is mainly the editing and pacing for the show (at least for me) for others it's the acting and for others, it may be all 3 or something else.
However, I'm going to be talking about the main characters (not the acting or actors mainly), Dao, Kluen, and Phoon, and how they all pretty much have red flags, not just Kluen. Let's start with Dao since he is the least offensive, however, that does not mean that Dao doesn't have a red flag moment and that is in episode 6 where he blows up on Kluen for punching Phoon and not Phoon for literally kissing him without consent. If he was mad at Kluen for every that happened so far or even both Kluen and Phoon it would make the scene right after make more sense. In terms of Dunk's acting it's (in my opinion) really good, does he have things to work on for sure mainly to do with the emotional scenes which even seasoned actors can struggle with but that doesn't mean he is a terrible actor as I actually liked seeing Dunk do these emotional scenes as we see that he can are all of them good however no the worse one (and the only worse one) is during the call with Phoon which in my eyes didn't need as many tears just a few as he is in someone else's house with someone who could come back at any moment (no hate to Dunk I just think that's a fault of directing or writing)
Onto Kluen, who in this episode at least did the least offense and didn't really have any red flag moments other than the call with Gia which I will do in more detail when I get there. In episode 6 in my opinion he did the least offense here and actually tried to tell Dao how he feels on multiple occasions. In the garage/ car park he explained and Dao told him he had to think about it (which is fine especially with the last though days Dao has been through). He then tries to tell him when Dao comes over to help him but is interrupted by Gia who seems to be in distress as Kluen wanted to keep her on the phone and she probably didn't explain what happened in detail. Here he could have told Dao what happened or taken Dao with him but he did the safer option and not tell Dao (someone who he's not in a relationship with let) Gia's business and told him to wait (to me this is Kluen saying that he will explain when he returns). When he does return Dao isn't there (not that I blame Dao for leaving), so he texts Dao and wants to tell him but Phoon posted that insta post which made Kluen think that he was too late. He then goes to the bar and tells Phoon that he loves Dao which is fine but Dao should have been there as well. He then punches Phoon for kissing Dao (whether this is because he did it without consent or jealously I really don't know but I would like to believe in the first choice because while Kluen did kiss Dao without consent he was at least drunk and apologetic as soon as it happened). After Dao (for some reason) shouted at him and not Phoon or even both of them, he does after Dao to apologize but Dao doesn't listen (which makes sense). Onto Joongs acting, which is amazing especially because he has to play Kluen who is the complete opposite of Ming (his debut role in 2 moons 2) and the acting that Joong does with his eyes is amazing in my opinion.
Onto Phoon who probably did more damage in a single episode than Kluen has done in the entire series. Let's start with the phone call to Dao, the call started well saying to Dao that he should stay but then started getting manipulative where he wanted Dao to meet him when he knew he was at Kluen's. He then somehow got Dao to be his boyfriend for a day and uploaded that picture which got Dao upset right away (with reason) and even told everyone when they were at the bar that they were together (which from Dao's face was not a part of whatever deal they struck). We then have Phoon wanting to do this because he wanted to show Kluen that Dao doesn't love him which leads to Phoon kissing Dao without consent, getting punched by Kluen, and then not getting any repercussions from this action (as of yet) that he took over than one punch. Pepper playing Phoon had me flip-flopping to see if Phoon would be a good character or just an ass hole which in my opinion is good acting however when he was glaring at Pha I knew from there that he would do something I just didn't expect it to be that kiss. Honestly, this whole cast is great yea there are some rocky moments but I think that is due to writing and directing then the actors them selfs.
Overall, it's a good series and if it's not for you then that's fine not every series is for everyone. Is it as good as Kinnporsche, not me or bad buddy? No of course not but it's also not as terrible as Love by chance 2, Enchante or Tonhon chonlatee (at least for me).
The wait for the next episode is stressing me out. I want to see them both romantically happy together and this…
Same tbh, (along with Kinnporsche and Cupid's last wish) however I do not trust the preview at all with what happened last episode. Just hoping it's not a dream.
The plant is Kluen's answer to Dao's question of how long Kluen has liked him. He probably said that to let Dao…
Sorry for the long response I didn't mean for the first point to be this long. I mean we had the flashback where Dao was doing Kluen's art homework for him in episode 5 where he was drawing a sunflower, which is why Kluen has a sunflower (at least I think it is a sunflower I could be wrong) since he probably also got it when Dao was in Germany so Kluen thought that they probably won't meet again and wanted something to remind him of Dao I guess (this is just speculation on my part so this could also be wrong), also it looks like an image of the sunflower seems to be what Dao finally sees that Kleun likes him (if the preview is to be trusted).
With Kluen and his silence your not wrong that he hasn't hurt Dao (cause he has), however you can't deny (at least in episode 6) he wanted to tell Dao how he feels and tried to multiple times, in part 1 he tells Dao and Dao says he needs time (which is fine I'm really not mad at Dao here). In part 3 he was interrupted by Gia (again not anyone's fault here Gia could be in danger or something personal has happened, also Kluen doesn't want to betray Gia's trust and tell Dao her buisness). He does however tell Dao to stay and he will come back implying (at least to me) that he was going to explain in the best way he could (with Gia's permission) what happened along with his feelings. But then Phoon called and ruined that (who in my eyes did more damage to Dao in one episode then Kluen has done all series). In part 4 we do see Kluen say he loves Dao to Phoon but he should of said this with Dao there as well not just Phoon. We then have Phoon kiss Dao without his permission and then Kluen punching Phoon and having Dao blow up on Kluen (for some reason not Phoon) and storm out (which is fine as well). We then have Kluen follow and try to apologise for what he did with Phoon (even tho I don't think he had to at least for punching him), and we have Dao ignoring him (which is fine if he blew up on the person (Phoon) who needed to be blew up on). Basically, to summarise Kluen's trying there are just things he has no control of in his way, at least in episode 6 others are more harder say episode 4 and 5.
Sorry again for the long response didn't think I would have this much to say about this. Again not trying to argue or be condescending cause your points are valid.
ugh i hate myself for watching this ... watching it before it ended .. now i feel i cant wait for two more weeks…
The plant is Kluen's answer to Dao's question of how long Kluen has liked him. He probably said that to let Dao know that one, he has liked him since high school and 2, that he knew that Dao was doing his art homework for him. It would of been better if he said it but he's way of telling Dao works here (for me at least, feel free to disagree) then it has in other scenes. Sorry if this sounds condescending.
Not trying to talk joong down but isn't his acting worse in here? I'm on episode 1 part 2/4 and he shows no expessions…
I'd say that is due more to the character then the actor, Kluen doesn't easily show emotions with that Joongs acting will be emotionless to fit more with Kluens character.
To be honest, the comments saying this show has bad pacing are true (for the last few episodes at least) however compared to that's my candy (another currently airing drama) and that series pacing in the first two episodes is miles worse than what we have here.
LOL spot on for Dunk. Have you watched any of Joongs series or movie before? Why doesn't he have any facial expression?…
With Joong I think it's just the character showing little emotion. Him in 2 moons 2 (while I only have seen 4 episodes so this might change) plays a character who can show off the emotions that he can't show here.
