I really love this movie. It really speaks to my soul.I've always wanted to find movies with a plot / theme like…
It might not be a happy ending but I love the way he died on the lap of his crush. For me it's a honorable death and I always wanted an ending like that for myself (ahahahhaha). But what I don't like about the movie is it's too short and rushed in the end. When he left the Ring to save his crush there should be a scene where the whole nation cheers for him for trying to save the kids and the girl he likes. And when he died there should be a scene where the whole nation cries for him. That would've been a perfect ending. But I don't know why producers always chose an open ending like that...

The reason Min Ju killed herself was because of Si Heon selfishness.Of course people kept telling her she changed…
But what Shi Heon did to her at the end triggered everything she suffered back then and drove her to make the choice to end her life. She was already depressed before but not to the point to choose to kill herself ...
So I've finished this drama today and I have to vent my frustration here.Spoiler alert.
The reason Min Ju killed herself was because of Si Heon selfishness. Of course people kept telling her she changed back to the moody / dark Min Ju and those remarks did hurt her but what caused her final self destruction was because Si Heon started to change when he knew she wasn't Jun Hee and he became distant and even mean to her in the end. He was selfish because he only cared for Jun Hee without considering the feelings of Min Ju. He didn't care about her even if he knew he was hurting her. I was really sad for the main couple Si Heon - Jun Hee at first but when I saw their selfishness (they even had a date together in the end of the 1998 era when everything was over and knowing Min Ju was still around on her body when Jun Hee came back). On the last scene who is the guy on the bus watching and meeting the 2011 Jun Hee? The Gay Yeon Jun (it should be him considering his age and the era) or Shi Heon? In conclusion there's a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies in the drama. It's not bad but not perfect. I wonder if the original Taiwanese version is better or not can you tell me?
I'm on episode 9, I really like the story, but ... damn I'm lost! It's like I'm watching Inception! Who's who? What timeline is going on screen? In the end I give up trying to understand the story but I just want a happy end for everyone! :D
The drama was bit boring when I first watched it but Erika Karata kinda changed the vibe. Too bad she was involved with that scandal and knowing how the korean entertainment works she would never be casted again on a korean drama while in Japan they can forgive every celebrity with that kind of scandal...
(I'm talking about the english subs not the video file) :)
